I don't see why not. The thing is, Marxism might also die out (at least an "ideology") because there would no longer be a need for it and then people would come up with something different in order to better solve problems that emerge at the stage of an interplanetary civilization. It's not an eternal worldview, it's a historically produced critical theory of a particular social order.
