Is it TRVE that most people will excuse any kind of depravity being commited by their government provided that their basic need are met? If they PERSONALLY live in peace and have a full belly they couldnt give less of a shit about public dismemberments, child floggings, arranged marriages, torture and even mass murder of undesirables of society? If this is true then thats dark as fuck and gives me a good reason to have zero empathy for the working class. If they are going to act like barely sapient animals then maybe they deserve to be treated as nothing more than that by the bourgeoise.

It's not true. Most people are dissatisfied with "their" government and also their lives. The reason they don't rise up in revolt is they are afraid to put their lives on the line and afraid that their situation could be even worse than before if the current system is destabilized.

You say this as if you're not yourself dispossessed of the means of production. If you are in fact not a booj, and indeed an Egoist, then you should know having empathy for other proletarians is not what is needed. You need to foment class consciousness among the proletariat because your self interest and the class interest of the proletariat are identical: the overcoming of the subordinate condition, the reappropriation of the means of production for the fulfillment of maximum self interest.
