I'm ashamed to post this but push came to shove and my situation is desperate. I wanted to give me and my mother a bit of happiness.

I'm 29 and live with my 68yo mother in a 25m rented apartment. I also take care of three kittens. Both me and my mother have serious health issues that make it impossible for us to work. My mother receives disability benefits in Greece but I was assessed at 60%(you need 67%) and I don't get shit. Currently trying to appeal this.

Because of this, we live in extreme poverty. For more than half of this month we’ve basically been surviving on plain pasta with sauce.

I'm asking for a very small donation so we can finally order a couple of meals and eat something different for the next few days. Food in Greece is relatively cheap so only a small tip will suffice.

I understand people might be skeptical but I can provide proof about our living conditions and also post the food ordered. If someone is from Greece, they can order themselves for us if they want.

If anyone reads this and wants to help, it will be greatly appreciated.

Are there state or charitable institutions or even volunteer support groups that can help you or give you some advice you on this stuff? It's usually way better to not go alone, usually these processes just go much smoother also if you can get an related org involved, especially if you can make this known or have one come with you, because the bureaucracy simply does not want the headache, where as when it is individuals they begin to circle like sharks who smelled blood, quick to meet their quotas.
