transitioning is so absurdly hard that you've got to be a grade A moron to get far enough to have any actual changes to your body if you aren't actually trans. any "detransitioner" who got that far is either a victim of conversion therapy or one of the dumbest humans alive.

Transitioning isn't real.

just be yourself

Don't most detransitioners end up retransitioning at some later point?
Admittedly I have heard the largest regret rates are among ftm who started in adolescence. Seems testosterone takes effect more immediately and in lesser amounts.

IIRC there was some survey done in the UK I think with a sample size of a few thousand trans people, and the overwhelming majority of people who detransitioned did so for external reasons. Like family pressure, political reasons, lack of access to healthcare, etc. I've known people in the UK who have emmigrated to other countries specifically because its so hard to receive trans healthcare. The NHS themselves admit that the waiting list for a mere consultation for trans healthcare is in the range of like 5-10 years at many clinics, and temporarily detransitioning because of that is not uncommon. What is uncommon for detransition is the cited reason being that it wasn't for them, ie they decided they were cis.

Pretty much. When they detransition is because of some external pressure, even if it's something as simple as inability to access healthcare - like hormones or surgery.
Feel bad for trans people in the UK, ever since capitalists decided to scape-goat them things have been getting that much harder for them. Petty little island with delusions of grandeur and masculinity, this shrieking over transwomen will get them nothing.

Gender is such a nebulous and wishy washy thing that I really don't blame them. Especially nowadays where gender roles get blurred more and more. Capitalism really is the destroyer of all traditions, even those that even today people believe are so profoundly in us that they are in a way, as essential a quality as anything else. As if wearing lipstick and skirts, and wearing pants and not wiping your ass are all contained in the sex chromosomes.
>All fixed, fast-frozen relations, with their train of ancient and venerable prejudices and opinions, are swept away, all new-formed ones become antiquated before they can ossify. All that is solid melts into air, all that is holy is profaned, and man is at last compelled to face with sober senses his real conditions of life, and his relations with his kind.
