Queer people aren't necessary to proletarian revolution and we shouldn't pretend so. I support the communists because they tend to develop the productive forces very rapidly, not because socialism necessarily leads to queer liberation.
Communism has been very successful despite the history of the idiot bourgeois decadence line. Nothing is gained from obscuring reality. Mass revolutions have often been social conservative and patriarchal. The material causes of queerphobia aren't really clear and obvious but queer people are a tiny minority that the communists could afford to throw under the bus.
I don't know, it's just really depressing living as a transgender prole knowing that most other proles hate and fear me and see me as not worth fighting for.
