Why does everyone feel so violently compelled to share their confidently incorrect takes about trans people every single time they're brought up in any capacity? You say the word "transgender" and a billion heads snap to face you so they can add their endlessly parroted "takes" to the conversation, as if their unoriginal ad-nauseum sludge brings any value to it.
I know in public spaces at least half of them are bots, but even with that in mind it's still absurdly frequent. I can't think of a single other topic that causes this widespread level of manic frothing. Not even discussions of socialism or Palestine reach the same level of magnetizing disinformed armies of idiots. It's so bad that places with rules against transphobia tend to just straight up lock discussions where trans people are brought up to avoid having the moderate the impending flood of cocksure saliva. They've basically bruteforced a ban on any positive discussion of trans people on most major websites. It's so infuriating.
