My parents thought sending me to conversion therapy would make me not trans - instead it just left me with BPD which only makes me hotter to other trans women. This is a classic case of the literary device called "irony".

every single one I have actually met irl was fine, one claimed to have adhd but imo it was fake (only way to get adderall or whatever they give for adhd in this shithole). also there is that, when you hear an illness is "trending", it means that certain drugs are trending, the diagnostics are pill seeking
and this is going to sound stupid and fetishistic but most of these meme "correlations" boil down to non-conformity: even if they play the small bean character, you need a really strong personality and sense of self to not only think about your gender but take a proactive stance towards it. we live in an age of passivity, even in the underdeveloped world
this is why I claim that weird people are revolutionary even if you put intersectionality aside, agency is like a flywheel and they have already gone through the effort of putting it in motion. to some extent I resent the few progressive forces under capitalism that are slowly integrating the weird just like I resent the "treats". it is controversial, but yes, the worse the better

Read some work like "In the Shadow of Diagnosis: Psychiatric Power and Queer Life" and also look into Ole Ivar Lovaas, applied behavior analysis and the "Feminine Boy Project". In a lot of ways, it's not really different than drapetomania and hysteria as diagnoses. So there's a lot of trauma but also systemic biases to diagnose queer people as mentally ill in some perverse way. Many substances and therapies are useful but overall the psy-sciences are very problematic and deeply tied into the criminal justice system and bourgeois ideology.
