I probably shouldn’t be looking for advice on leftypol, I don’t know if I am even supposed to be on here in the first place because I am confused if leftypol is 18+ like 4chan or not, but I’m here anyways:

>She’s accepting
>We talk about it and she’s willing to pay for my HRT
>Healthcare in my area is abysmal
>Schedule an appointment but the wait time is rather long
>Talk to her about it and ask if she would be ok with me DIYing and a fight starts over it
>She isn’t willing to pay for DIY

Like what exactly am I supposed to do? Because I don’t exactly want to transition late and I feel the more I wait the more I will regret not starting earlier. How am I gonna afford HRT? Do I just continue going medical? I don’t really want to. Should I try to convince her?? Should I get her to cancel the appointment? If so what would the excuse be?

I know you don't want to hear it but the easiest option is to simply wait. if youre a minor you'll be fine even with a long wait time, I know it'll suck but it is what it is. in the meantime transition socially, learn makeup, style, your voice, etc. there's a lot to be done before starting hormones

First of all try to talk to her, explain to her the irreversible effects of aging, ask her if she wants to have a daughter or a gigahon freak, show her that plenty of trans people DIY and it is perfectly safe.

I mean I talked to her about how most trans people do DIY which she said that’s because they all live in 3rd world countries or have unaccepting parents (lol), but I didn’t tell her about how most DIY isn’t homebrew and from actual pharmaceutical manufacturers. I also told her about how there are trusted sites for ts (like diyhrt.info, hrtcafe.net, etc.) but she just replied “Well the internet isn’t trustable!” (???). Which is silly because these are entire groups of people vouching.

I stated it as “buying HRT via the internet”, I should tell her that it commonly is just shipping HRT from foreign pharmaceutical manufacturers (I believe a lot comes from India?), I don’t know how to start that conversation, and I am worried she will just dismiss the conversation.

You should be able to get estradiol injections for a low price ($6-12 per month). Getting the cryptocurrency to pay homebrew vendors is tricky though, i don't know how far you can get as a minor.
