I have a psychological theory that schizophrenia is somewhat related to transgenderism (also I am not transphobic, this is just a theory).
Schizophrenia is caused by multiple chemical imbalances in the brain, and it has been found that hormones can influence severity and expression of symptoms.
BUT it has also been found that estrogen can be protective for schizophrenia, delaying its development.
This is why women usually develop schizophrenia later in life compared to men.
I have a theory that male to female transition could be a mechanism the brain uses, misinterpreting schizophrenia as gender dysphoria, unintentionally delaying its development or preventing it entirely.

For examples of this, Ted K in the 60s was actually going through transition. After he stopped taking estrogen and detransitioned, his schizophrenia started to develop rapidly.
In my personal experiences, as a schizophrenic myself, I have heard from other schizophrenics that they have experienced gender dysphoria too.

What do you guys think?

Trouble never comes alone, and most trans people have mental health conditions, but they usually have the well-known anxiety/depression, or dissociation, or autism.
I haven’t encountered trans people with schizophrenia, but you can find data showing that neither psychotherapy nor antipsychotics are able to cure gender dysphoria.

Is it normal to be autistic in a way that makes you kind of experience the symptoms of schizophrenia? I don't think I have the latter, just the former, and I don't believe anything made up and I'm completely a materialist. But sometimes it feels like a demon possesses me and I start going really crazy lol. Like I am high functioning but sometimes I just start contorting myself and making weird vocalisations, and like acting like a zombie. Though I never hurt anyone or break anything I do scare people a lot. It's very weird and I don't understand why I get like that, though its not like it's really that much of a problem it just scares people and makes people think I'm crazy.

The spiritual dimension is a real part of society and it's normal to be affected by it. Just pick up some simple cleansing rituals to ground yourself.
>I just start contorting myself
That's a thing i do occasionally and it's probably just your bodily sensations subconsciously guiding you how to loosen your muscles. I posted about it on laichain once.
