at least for me it was an important part of my self-discovery as a depressed teen isolated and with no education on what even trans people, spending time between IBs only interacting with terminally online incels at the peak of my delayed puberty
Giving up and taking my first steps in gender exploration i realized i had to make a choice between "malebrained" nihilist spaces and actually transitioning, fast forward to the present i'm here, brainworms and a shaky early transition due to contact with transmedicalists overlapping with Blanchardism makes me stick to /tttt/ culture
and here's where i make a pause to make a critique of "transmedicalism" not as a method but as a cope starved for validation

now let's think the two sides of terminally online trans spaces: trans hugboxes and trans brainworm nests
they're different enough in "vibe" and yet they both represent a terminally online space where both positive and negative feedbacks of self-affirming dogmas and paranoias.
As a result of this i struggle constantly with the concept of Autogynephilia to a point where it affects my bf;
as an outsider he doesn't understand it, but he has an aversion to the concept and a desire to understand it as he wishes to understand me.
I've infected a cis person with brainworms.
I have to tell him it's not real but he says there seems to be a degree of credibility to it. it hurts me, and even without that second opinion the fact that Blanchardism has been co-opted by trans spaces, in fact the mere fact the AGP typology is still part of the DSM-V is hurtful even if i recognize psychology under capitalism seeks to colonize such conditions; in order to explain it to a group of scholars who clearly have no interest in the wellbeing of the people they pathologize.
How do we break this cycle?
we have the Thesis; a pathology that makes trans women in particular (for some reason) dwell in a cycle of self hate which innevitably overlaps with the same nihilistic worldview that degenerated IBs into what they are today
and on the other side the Anti-thesis; the hugbox where you won't hear any of this, their sisters are falling apart and their reaction is "fuck them, they're rude and their negativity makes me sad, best of luck but fuck you", liberalism in it's maximum expression, *every woman by herself.* if i pump the music higher i won't hear their screams.
what would be the next step to break this cycle? do we engage? do we appropriate? how would you organize this purposefully balkanized community?

IMO the problems with both ultimately stem from having internalized misogyny, with 4transhumanistoids literally inventing their own version of unrealistic expectations towards women. the ubiquity and anonymity of the internet has drastically increased the turbulence of the noosphere. if you visualize the collective cognition and communication of all human beings on the planet as something like the atmosphere, i.e. this big chaotic living system with climate and weather patterns, you can imagine what a tremendous disruption the recent development and global adoption of the internet must have been, this technology that suddenly opened the floodgates for random long-distance and disinhibited human communication all over the world.
all these seemingly novel and alien ideas about gender and sexuality and whatnot have always been in our brains from the very beginning, but to talk about something or even think about something at the conscious level, we have to make up words for it. and to merge it into the noosphere we have to speak the words to other people who can grasp their meaning, i.e. likeminded people who are thinking the same thing we are thinking but don't have the words for it. until the internet was a thing, this was far more difficult for people who had unconventional ideas about sex or gender, the church and the empire and the loyal conventional square masses dictated thought and language and most people who were queer could not become consciously aware of it and the very few queers who did manage to become aware of it were spread out and isolated from each other like small local weather events, a group of friends here or there, maybe a small community in some major urban cultural center or big prestigious institution where wealth and status and population density protected them from persecution.
the internet has completely overhauled human communication and turned the noosphere into a chaotic worldwide firestorm that nobody can really control, though they certainly have been trying, and it's having all kinds of good and bad consequences and we have no idea where it might lead and that scares the living shit out of the square world, they feel like the world has gone mad and they can't understand what is happening and they are coming up with all kinds of absurd harebrained conspiratorial explanations, because they have monistic authoritarian thinking and therefore they don't understand pluralism or chaos theory; they don't have the words.
