What is yall's take on theyfabary?
What makes them like that?
Is there any way we could perhaps reverse such activity, perhaps through some form of Lysenko engineering?
Is theyfabery the complaining about non-binary people existing or the existence of them itself? The complaining will die when twitter dies. Non-binary will be the default under socialism, as people won't be assigned a gender at birth.
>>6497If you're talking about the people who claim they/them pronouns but don't present any differently from their sex assigned gender, I just have to say that I see males do this an equal amount. It's a totally zero cost strategy for cishets to level up in the oppression olympics, have a unique special snowflake identity, and gain access to lgbt community. There's no way to stop it, but we also don't have to give it any weight
I know most usage of theyfab is derogatory, but it's unironically so much more evocative and convenient as a naming scheme than cis/trans:
he/fab they/fab she/fab
he/mab they/mab she/mab
>>6500no!!! you must care about bullshit!!! you must argue!!!!
Change the mainstream LGBT agenda and all theyfabs will disappear - it will simply be unpopular and not edgy.
They’ve been around forever
>>6501we shouldn't be talking about who is cis or trans anyway
This is a stupid question because "theyfab" has so many different definitions that the word is completely meaningless.
If "theyfab" means female-presenting nonbinary/transmasc people I'd assume most of it is just because of social pressures to present as female despite actually wanting to transition. Combine that with the fact that the "transmasc" community has become overrun with enough of these types that they silence people who actually transition and end up as a bunch of crabs in a bucket, and you end up with the insufferable behavior they normally have.
If "theyfab" means trans man/masc who leverages his "afab"ness against trans women, it's because a lot of trans men are either raised with transmisogynistic cisfeminism or taught it by the "kweer girls and theys" friend groups that a lot of them are in pre/early transition. terfy cisfeminism gives a somewhat realistic-sounding explanation for antitransmasculinity so a lot of them never question it.
If "theyfab" means trans man, it's because they have gender dysphoria.
Most definitions of "theyfab" are some combination of these three things. Pick whichever is most applicable to the one you were imagining.
