hey everyone :3
who are all of your favourite lgbt musicians??
right now mines Lex Walton, who you can find at
https://youthagainstsatan.bandcamp.com I think she's one of the best songwriters currently doing it and her music is v heavily about being trans and gay. i think her latest album "I WANT YOU TO KILL ME" is probably her best but it might be easier to get into her through "Our Desire Lacks Knowing Music" or some of her EPs like "GIRLFRIENDS" or "ALEX WALTON BY ALEX WALTON FROM THE ALBUM ALEX WALTON"
i also do music which you can find at
https://roseorlando.bandcamp.com i think my stuffs a little less explicitly gay and trans just due to the way i write but it's still an integral part of it, lemme know if you check it out :3
>>780I have a CSH tattoo and it's my first tattoo, pic rel is my tattoo (im shitting in the psych ward)
I love CSH so much I started guitar because of them, it genuinly changed my life
>>780i love car seat headrest, one of my favourite bands of all time!!
>>783you are very odd…
>>787i was playing guitar before i listened to csh but theyre certainly a major part of why i stuck with it and started writing and recording my own songs
>>1072>Sampled a real life 911 distress callso what? many artists have sampled worse, like Budd Dwyers suicide
>acted racist<this site>referenced Junko Furata multiple timesso what? many artists have.
>and used (presumably fake) child gore for an album cover.look up "cannibal corpse album cover"
>They have been accused of grooming minors and killing 3 cats, but take both of those with a grain of salt.if you take that with a grain of salt, instead of rejecting it outright for being completely baseless, you are retarded.

she's like a loser but also a woman
There's a very niche community of gay rappers / hip-hop on Yt and personally I think it's funniest shit ever. Lots of scatological and rape humor. It's like musical drag, just the worst idea about gay rapers a conservative could imagine done comedically. Kolossal is prrobably the biggest name, but I'm not sure.
A collab from them all:

>>2800also not LGBT in the sense that he's gay but David Tibet was baptized by Genesse P Orridge along Douglas P so i mean, sorta.
I like it because it's the Antithesis of DIJ
The electronic music world is build on top of the innovations of queer people (going as far back as the late 60s with Garage). Here are some producers I like. A varied bunch so your mileage may vary:
Liza 'n' Ellaz
Emma Queenston (or) Halley Labs (or) Lapfox
PurityFilter (or) SEX///TRANCE
Sophie
JamieP
Not into their stuff myself, but Sewerslvt is very popular.
Does anyone here have recommendations for queer, hardcore/crossover-punk projects?
>>743Wisdom.
>>2824Kero Kero Bonito made hyperpop mainstream.
Charli XCX moreso culture-vultured the underground, queer dance scene and turned it into easily digestable slop for the normies.
>>1072Missed this post. The other anon addressed most of it already, but I want to reiterate you are a fucking moron for swallowing that shit uncritically.
Most of the things people throw at Sewerslvt were things they posted as an edgy teen. The cat thing, using the pre-suicide photo, referencing Furuata - all cries for attention. Very much fitting with their profile at the time.
The groomer shit is absolutely nothing. Their age difference was less than three years. The other girl was very much into what they were (both) sharing and discussing. The real issue there is Cynthoni dumping their housing and money problems on an even younger teenager who was not receptive or in any position to help. However, considering Sewerslvt was still an adolescent teen themself, that definitely stems from a lack of maturity and experience. Relationship are difficult and a lot of them are messy. It is what it is.
Not even a sewerslvt fan: is see them as taking ideas from other producers, the only innovation being a ton of puerile angst.
Isn't it funny how queer (and even more so trans) people are overrepresented in this outrage and drama industry? That alone should make your skeptical of call-out posts and drama essays. Be understanding to each other, for fuck's sake.

"Maturity/experience" are often overestimated as age-based.
>Isn't it funny how queer (and even more so trans) people are overrepresented in this outrage and drama industry? That alone should make your skeptical of call-out posts and drama essays. Be understanding to each other, for fuck's sake. The bigger irony is, cishet folk provide the most relationship drama, especially when childrearing is involved.
Religiopolitical conservatives blame LGBT folk for the breaking up of the family unit.
Yet it's the cishet folk who don't know how to humble themselves nor get mandatory training for relationships.
>Most of the things people throw at Sewerslvt were things they posted as an edgy teen. The cat thing, using the pre-suicide photo, referencing Furuata - all cries for attention. Very much fitting with their profile at the time.Methinks the "teen years are edginess" is an overplayed trope. Yea sure a lot of people were like that but a lot of others also weren't.
Especially since alot of people who were mild in their youth become full blown edgelord in their adult life.
Look at Elon Musk.
>Relationship are difficult and a lot of them are messy. It is what it is.And people still feel like killing themselves for not having one. Single folk are looked down upon as leeches, as predators, yet single people pay more in taxes, are marginalized to more gruelling underpaid jobs, get less benefits from insurance and get heavier sentencing.
Patricia Taxxon, easy. Like, holy hell does her stuff give my brain the good scritchies.
https://youtu.be/5w6_D-jrt6shttps://youtu.be/na-F-F4QlqIhttps://youtu.be/57ejGDyqL1wI'm also a fan of Sewerslvt, glad to see that the general consensus is positive on her whole clusterfuck. Like, I'm pretty sure she's literally just edgy and trans and that's an unforgivable combo for some puritans. I obviously wasn't there so I can't know, but like, geez.
Also, this thread is a gold mine. Gay people are literally just better at music.
