Help me choose a girl name for myself. I have some ideas for a few names already but i don’t know if any of them are good or not.

>claire

it sounds very elegant and dainty, which I like. But I’m worried it might be too much of a stereotypical transgirl name like Alice.

>Vivian

I think it sounds unique and cool while also sounding a bit elegant aswell. But maybe it’s too weird. I also don’t want people to think I named myself after Vivian Medrano (creator of hazbin hotel)

>Jessica

More common and sounds nice, but not as classy as the others

>Stormy

I think it sounds very cute but I’m worried it sounds too much like a pet name

>Pamilla

It’s basically the girl version of my cis name, so would probably be the easiest name for the people in my life to get used to calling me. Also shares a name with pamilla voorhese which is cool. But the name sounds too much like a grandma name for my tastes.

Any feedback on my name ideas or suggestions of your own would be greatly appreciated. I don’t want to accidentally name myself something stupid

Esther is a fancy lady name. So is Olivia, Rebecca, Rachael, Anne, and many others.

I'm partial to Claire, of the list you posted. Also, feel free to try out names and whatever, that tends out to be the surest way to weed out what you vibe with.

Heh, weed…

>>7223
defs gotta be lilith

Matt Damon

just choose something that isnt pronounced like shit and isnt similar to your deadname

>>7223
>It’s basically the girl version of my cis name, so would probably be the easiest name for the people in my life to get used to calling me.
lmfao ffffuck no, its the opposite actually. you dont want to confuse people or get them to slip more easily dummy

Well I named myself Kate, after the text editor. Monosyllabalic, easy to write in blackletter calligraphy, not too common.

You could try listing off names from shows you watch.

Claire, Vivian and Jessica are nice. Idk about Stormy, and I don't think you should call yourself anything like your dead name.

>>7223
All the suggested names are stereotypical trans names.

did you take this photo in a rented l0lita escape room?

>>7232
>Pamilla
I always though Pamela was more common.
>>7232
At this point any female name is transhumanistcoded, except maybe genuine grandma picks like Lucille or Effie which is the name of my unfinished FTP server software.

!

Today is the saint of Marie-Eugénie de Jésus, a girl, coincidentally.
You should name yourself Marie, Mary, Maria.
Just choose the name of the saint of the day you were born in and if its a male name swap the gender.

>>7237
Apparently it is not the only saint today and not the most important either (im not christian)
https://www.santodeldia.net/ among these Saint Cayus and Alexander and saint Victor could be good

>>7230
>I named myself Kate, after the text editor.
based alert

>>7228
>>7231
It’s what my trans brother did, naming himself the male equivalent of his deadname, so I assumed it was a common thing to do.
>>7230
I don’t really watch any shows, and the few I have seen are anime but that’s out of the question. I don’t wanna end up being the next saiko
>>7232
Really? Or are you just fucking with me.
>>7233
It’s not me, I wish I was as pretty as the girl in the photo. It’s just some random pic from my camera roll

>>7256
>so I assumed it was a common thing to do.
yeah bc people are fucking stupid, youre basically asking to get deadnamed ""accidentally""

>>7256
Well this could be an opportunity to find a name and expand your media palette.

Gacha games are also a trove of neat names.

dont overthink it tbqh, not much thought went into most people's names

>>7263
>Gacha games are also a trove of neat names.
peak autismo lmao

>peak autismo
Correct, but so am I. I know a couple that named their kid after Vesti from Nikke because the mother plays it.

It's not much different than people that give their kids bible names.

Claire or Jessica. Both are normal and popular names, imo what matters the most when choosing a name is whether or not it was reasonably popular in your birth year. At least, if you don’t want your name to be clocky.

Maybe choose Adriana or Stasia?

Why not Grace? It's a cute girly name but it is also sophisticated and regal.

>>7269
Its decided. I'll call myself Vesti when I transhumanist out I fucking love THE REAL MONSTER.

>Boomer
>Clocky
>Millennial
>Boomer
>Ethnic

What country are you in and what year were you born. Pic rel show the most common baby girl names from 2004 in the US, any of those should be fine assuming you're 20 to 24 if it's not similar to your deadname. Just make sure it's not too different from the names in your family and ethnicity, don't go around naming yourself shit like Naomi as a white girl. If your parents and grandparents have biblical names, try not straying from that. See if your family has more germanic or romantic (as in from latin) names. Etc.

Why do they sound so unnatural? I'm not a yankee, but I don't think even here such names are common.

>>7263
>>7269
>gambling slop
Jesus fucking christ.

>>7296
It's dengism

Даздраперма (Dazdraperma) – Да здравствует первое мая! (Long live the first of May!)

alexandra (i’m not creative, soz)

>>7276
Fine ill scrap all my name ideas. Ill just name myself something normie and basic like victoria

>>7379
Is victoria really normal? I guess if you're british.

That said, I wouldn't be too concerned with normal, if you like Victoria that's a pretty neat name. Come into any room and people assume you're a winner. (victorious)

Rule of cool is important.

>>7385
>Is victoria really normal? I guess if you're british.
amerilards when presented with a name commonly used across multiple spanish and portuguese speaking countries: what is this some british thing???????

>>7379
Vicky is fine

You look like a daisy, claire, or kate. cute names i would say.

>>7379
I mean what kind of name is Pamilla supposed to be? You mean Camilla or Pamela?

>>7698
I meant Pamela. Apologies for my piss poor spelling
>>7385
Its one of the most common names where i live. It feels like a very basic generic name to me, so i definitely dont think its a cool name but its tolerable since all my other name suggestions seem to be shit
