>want to learn makeup to fix my ugly masculine face
>have to research and buy an overwhelming fuckton of different makeup products
>realize i have to do skincare and fix my acne before learning makeup
>have to go to dermatologist to get recommended a skincare routine
>says it might not even work for me and it will takes months to tell
>cant even do the skincare routine consistently because of how depressed i am
>mfw its been 4 days since i last used any skincare products
Ill never be able to fix my acne, ill never be able to learn makeup. My face will always be ugly gross and masculine. Ill never be able to be a pretty femboy.
Are you drinking enough water? That's a skincare and depression management thing.
>>7708Im pretty sure i get enough water. Ice makes up 50 percent of what i eat.
>>7709Maybe it's the cold? Try getting some warm water in there too.
>My face will always be ugly gross and masculine.Hot
>Ill never be able to be a pretty femboy. They don't exist
>have to go to dermatologist to get recommended a skincare routineGet isotretinoin/accutane as fast as possible, anything else is mostly useless, at least it was for me. It didn't go away until accutane, and it hasn't come back
>>7708Water, sleep and healthy food only work to prevent acne, not fix it. Most of the times it is a hormonal issue
>>7711>I went to the dermatologist to get a recommended a skincare routine<have you tried drinking some warm water? :))) >>7711Thank you, but i doubt it will be enough to fix me considering ive had acne for years now.
>>7716>HotIt may be hot on masculine men, but I dont want to be masculine. It just makes me look creepy and uncanny having a feminine body with a masculine face.
>Get isotretinoin/accutane as fast as possible, anything else is mostly uselessMy dermatologist told me to take clindamycin lotion, acne wash, and tretinoin. Is it all useless? Do i only need acutane and nothing else?
>>7728>having a feminine body Do you have wide hips?
>Do i only need acutaneHow bad is your acne? (you can post a picture of someone with similar acne) Maybe if it's not
really bad it's enough with tretinoin, specially if you hadn't used any chemical before
My derm at first also gave me tretinoin at first plus hyaluronic and some other thing but after 2-3 months of overall ineffectiveness she gave me accutane, you still need to apply a moisturizer tho
>and nothing else?To be fair, tretinoin did something, it stopped the hurtful/stingy pimples from appearing, but it did not stop the smaller ones and didn't reduce the redness and texture of my face
I think you should trust your derm but if she gives you the option later on of keeping this or switching to accutane you should switch
>>7735im not sure how bad my acne would qualify as, but here.
I also heard my clindamycin lotion acts as a moisturizer so i hope it will be enough

>https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC6642074/ >>7742Most of acne is skin clean-ness, so try using a bit of rubbing alcohol on a cloth after each shower. I have a disposition to acne too but I've managed to keep it pretty minimal to gone that way.
>>7742Oh, it'sn't very bad
>>7707The biggest thing that fixed my acne was changing my pillowcase every night, try that (you can just use t-shirts if you don't have enough pillowcases)
>>7745It looks a lot worse in person. My shitty camera quality makes it seem less bad. My face looks like a tomato because of the red rashes all over every part of my skin.
>>7744>>7746Ill try those, thank you for the tips
>>7774
It's accutane
>>7742>i cant and wont do literally anything (except complain online) bc uhhh *posts some random paper*genuine pseud retard over here holy shit LMAO
>>7774it doesnt really fix acne (it might make it worse in some cases) but it would clearly be the best fix for op wanting to be more feminine lol
>>7774I highly doubt estrogen has any effects on acne, but I would probably be on estrogen by now if it wasnt for the numerous things preventing me from getting it. So still its a dead end
>>7776read:
>https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC6642074/>>7707My routine is:
at night wash face + apply tretinoin to affected areas
in the morning remove tretinoin from face with water, apply facial cleanser (I use cerave) to whole face and then wash face, shave, apply moisturizer to face
have a fresh pillow case every single night (very important)
cutting down on dairy products would also likely help (hard for me because I love cheese and take my protein shake with milk)
it takes a while to work but I've been seeing progress, I have a lot of acne scarring
obviously depression makes it a challenge but if you can at a bare minimum go to sleep at night and wake up in the morning I think you can do it
I ordered a korean moisturizing sunscreen and I'll try that instead of regular moisturizer and see how it goes
>>7774
why do I get the feeling you're the same guy telling people to take estrogen for every ailment in every thread?
>>7778>in the morning remove tretinoin from faceYour supposed to remove it?? I just assumed the face absorbed it like it does with moisturizer.
>I ordered a korean moisturizing sunscreen and I'll try that instead of regular moisturizer and see how it goeslmk if it works well since i still need to buy some sunscreen for myself but i dont know which sunscreen products are good
>>7780yeah it stays on the face so you need to wash your face in the morning (which should happen anyways)
oh and your face should be dry before applying it
and you should be using sunscreen when going out because tretinoin increases light sensitivity (which I've been really bad about) - that's why you put it on at night and not in the morning
>i dont know which sunscreen products are goodamerican sunscreens are pretty dogshit
reddit likes to recommend beauty of joseon relief sun aqua fresh, unfortunately it's no longer being directly sold in the us so I had to buy it from an importer, paying almost 24 dollars for a single bottle including shipping, which -might- be worth it if it actually works and depending on how long a bottle lasts
>>7707HRT? it fixed it for me. I also got salicylic acid moisturizer but i dont even have to use it now. forehead and nose are actually dry and i have to use regular people moisturizer and sunscreen instead. no chest or arm acne either and even less razor bumps on legs i couldnt even wax before because i would get ingrowns on my chest and it fixed that too its pretty based. i did have to power through like 2 months of fucking hell though like red and bumpy all over and i also exfoliate daily with one of those scrubber mitts and SA cleanser. also use the cleanser in the morning before sunscreen. still adjusting tho cause i think it might be too much now. i did also quit nicotine stopped vaping in bed and cut out soda and added sugars but thats just a bonus and now i dont even have to change my pillowcases midweek and no breakouts in over a month. when you make changes tho you gotta stick with it cause the initial change will fuck you up and you gotta wait for your skin to neutralize its new composition or whatever cause its oil production response lags behind your actions by a bit
>>7787i CANT do hrt and i never will be able too. If i could do hrt i would already be on it.
My father has thrown out the hrt packages i ordered and he will completely cut me off financially if he finds me ordering it again. Im too autistic and depressed to function in any job so i cant risk it.
Besides, i am pretty certain hrt wouldnt cure acne, that makes little to no sense. But thank you for the other advice you gave.
>>7791I'm also an autist that can't work any job (nta btw) and I'm also a fucking transhumanist, fuck. Anyway I'm grinding hard to try and become an internet artist to have HRT money try that at least or any internet fucking grind, don't just give up bitch.
I'm almost 30 my chances of being pretty are DONE so what? I'd rather be the ugliest ogrehon that shows up in rightoid anti-trans propaganda than to never transition. DONT LOSE HOPE.
>>7796Im not trans though, im just a femboy. The only reason i want to take hrt is to prevent twink death, and time is rapidly running out. Once i hit twink death, all i can do atp is kill myself. I wish I had the talent to be an internet artist so fucking badly, and not just for the money either. I wish you luck with acquiring hrt though.
>>7797Twink death isn't really inevitably imo. Just keep up with grooming, skincare, and fitness and you can stay cute and attractive for a long time. Aging inevitably gets everybody, but this applies to women too. I've never bought into the notion that twinks are especially susceptible to this or that it happens so young. I've banged guys in their mid 30s that were still very cute and twinkish. Most "twink death" incidents involve people gaining weight or not keeping up with grooming/hygiene.
t. Twink enjoyer
You are already pretty, OP
drink water
cut down on ultraprocessed foods or SAD (Standard American Diet). Examples: mediterranean diet, vegetarian
wind down in afternoon/nighttime. if you're not working out stretch or something and take it easy (if this has to do with stress)
shower in afternoon / before nighttime
use salicylic acid face cleanser, morning and at shower time, apply moisturizer
always brush your teeth before bed
change pillow covers once a week and/or don't sleep face in spit puddles (have darker pillow covers for this to be easily visible
Do this for a month to see results. Have already? Doesnt see results?
Also get bazirone cream for face which is stronger. Read description on how to use properly. Do this alternate routine for an added month.
Still no positive results? Write this routine down and bring it to share with the doctors appointment, so that you both have to waste time (he probably will initially recommend bazirone, for example, but one can get it at pharmacy without prescription).
>>8045>bazironebasiron* / benzoyl peroxide
sorry, typed it fast..
<medi. diet and veg. are positive examples of non-ultraprocessed (generally, if you dont go exceptional retard mode) diets
<so that you both don't* have to waste time
gl, also had problems with acne a few years back
>>8039I cant even manage to keep up with skincare or grooming, and even if i was, my bones would eventually masculinize and my shoulders would still eventually grow so large that I couldnt possibly be feminine anymore.
>>8044Thank you, I appreciate the kindness but if you actually saw what i looked like you would most likely think otherwise.
>>8045Thank, i doubt ill be able to do all of those but ill try to do as many as i can
>>8055>my bones would eventually masculinize and my shoulders would still eventually grow so large that I couldnt possibly be feminine anymoreThat's not a thing Anon. If you're past puberty your basic body frame is pretty much set in stone, at least until you're super old and you start getting arthritis or shrinking lol. What people call "masculinization" is mostly just aging, and apart from baldness most of the issues associated with it (wrinkles, weight gain, etc) are problems women face too. Our society is just far less forgiving of age when it comes to feminine beauty standards as compared to masculine ones, and so ordinary aging that everybody faces is described as "masculinization". This is especially true for femboys considering how heavily influenced by anime aesthetics the whole culture is, and 90% of popular anime characters are teenagers if not actual children. I assure you that a lot of this is in your head. Just eat healthy, exercise, wash your face, shave, etc. I promise you can keep a cute appearance for longer than you think. Even if your face is more masculine than you'd like, you could always consider going for more of a cute-handsome vibe like picrel than trying to look like a girl or androdgynous.
>>8061yeah i thought it was a thing tho but it was probably you that convinced me. ive been on the whole routine for 3 months and basically everything that happened for the last 10 years of lazy reversed. bloated midsection is gone and i pretty much reverted to my teen body. even my chest hair is thinning which i thought was impossible. the last thing to go is gonna be my broader shoulders im just kinda fucked on that front because i have to lift heavy shit at work for right now but even they are getting slimmer
>>8061> If you're past puberty your basic body frame is pretty much set in stoneI dont know about that, my shoulders are nowhere near as broad as my dads are. Plus im 18 so I assume theres still a possibility for further growth, but i desperately dont want my shoulders and ribcage to become as large as my dads are.
>What people call "masculinization" is mostly just aging, and apart from baldness most of the issues associated with it (wrinkles, weight gain, etc) are problems women face tooIf this is true, then why would so many people recommend estrogen to prevent masculinization? And why do women still look very feminine well into their 40s. Meanwhile most men past the age of 30 just end up being see and hulking, creepy, and uncanny when they try to dress femininely.
>Even if your face is more masculine than you'd like, you could always consider going for more of a cute-handsome vibe like picrel than trying to look like a girl or androdgynous.I would rather blow my brains out rather than not be able to appear femininely or androgynously. Masculinity just doesnt fit who I am. I dont want to look like some generic masculine handsome man like in that pic.
>>8071how old are you? is this really true? I want to hope this is true but im scared ill end up masculine and disgusting and regret it forever.
>>8090>>8090>how old are you? is this really true?mid 30s and yes. im barely doing anything but like people say its genetics and ymmv. and i was on absurd amounts of spearmint that whole 10 years to the point it changed my body hair and odor so its kinda like being on a mild aa. i can never know how much is copium but my chest hair really came back less than a third after tweezing it once. i did have an easy starting point and not a lot of weight to lose because i was doing everything i could within reason to prevent twink death but 90% of my changes over the last decade imho were due to regular ass aging and maybe nicotine the biggest things are lines on my face and bigger pores and loss of baby fat on my face that i had up until around 24. and again my shoulders are because of work but i guess i do have a little bit of a doritio/hulk frame from behind and cant tell if im coping from first person view since im also a giant and not delusional so i have realistic expectations, but ive always been that way fr since like 16 yo and my shirts are not getting tighter if anything i went down two sizes in pants and can still fit in small flannels medium tees are loose on my chest. real changes happen when you are like way older than 60 thats when mens ribs shift into a barrel. fr i think look better than i did before about the best ever have, since im actually trying now and seeing the changes gives the motivation to care and im quite certain my face will reverse too in 1-2 years plus laser. the worst looking part was that like rectangular tummy fat and yes its really gone i have abs now and that line thing when standing relaxed and my waist is even slimming.
>then why would so many people recommend estrogen to prevent masculinization? because its true and does a lot of work. reversal takes alot of discipline and sometimes money. its just most changes like voice and bone structure and hair are done for most people by 18 to mid 20s so i think that advice is targeted towards teens. after that its mostly just body/facial hair slowly increasing in density and thickness, both individually and in number. and thats extremely triggering. plus if your hairline recedes thats like world shattering. it also saves a lot of money and time preventing you from having to do laser or buy razor blades or do hair loss treatments. i also dont really have other body hair like my forearms were pretty thin and have reverted to blonde. the rest is just metabolism slowing and you getting thicker and fatter from accumulated calories and work compared to having more energy doing more and eating less as a kid, 10-20 lbs over your whole body like inflates you in every direction and on test that happens in a moided distribution whereas never having gained your whole body is still taught but ive been lucky on that being a squirrelly adhd who still burns 3500 calories sitting at the computer. and they say on e you gain in a female distribution so instead of being bricked you could hypothetically just gain on bottom to match your hulking top.
>regret it forever.i mean i still regret it. i repped for really dumb ass reasons and could have saved myself a ton of misery but its all related to time not really changes a lot of that is wrapped up in mental issues and anxiety and like arrested development from being an idiot neet which is of course kinda inseparable from repping. like no matter what i couldnt be where i am until i fixed that so its sorta chicken and egg
>>8091Spearmint actually works as an antiandrogen?! What form would I need to take it in, and how much of it would i need to consume for it to work as an AA? I cant get real antiandrogens at the moment so it would be a great help to take until im able to get them.
>>8121mildly but yes and obviously ymmv but yeah it works for me and im 100% certain its real. the guide said "4 cups a day" but they are talking like store bought tea bags. i do 2-4 fresh sprigs of mint with 4-6 leaves down the stem a day crushed into decaf green tea twice a day and left in after steeping. 2-4 depends on the time of year and how dark green and big the leaves are. get them straight out of the garden. get some from the store root it in water and put in the ground and you will never be able to get rid of it if you live somewhere not a desert. when i stopped for 3 months last summer cause my patch died back i got strong male body odor pretty quickly and my arm hair suddenly went from blonde and thin and whispy to dark brown thick and wirey. you can literally cut the hair it with scissors and see the change when i go on/off mint from blonde to black and back to blond. at higher doses it also makes you kinda weak and lethargic gives you headaches and fatigue and much lower libido and thats not great probly bad for bones but it will never fully suppress its not strong enough for that. also can smooth skin and clear acne thats actually how i doubled down on it from some old ladies menopause tip about full on blended fistfuls of mint for hirsutism and pcos. never gave me gyno or ed either but you can overdo it and it will make you feel like shit. highly recommend growing it yourself its incredibly easy and if you stick it in a pot you might run out but it wont take over your yard like people fear. but just let it and eat it all :)
i no longer believe that bones significantly change but i still do think spearmint helped me have an easier time and preserved a younger starting point since i didnt have very much thick body hair or leathery skin at all. highly advocate it as a stop gap but dont cope and rep too long it wont save your hairline or cause actual changes just slow or stop existing ones and you do kinda get a test rebound spike if you stop
>>8127oh and its not actually an aa in the same way. it works by increasing shbg which binds free test in blood. this is actually not what you want if your on hrt since it starts going after e when it runs out of t. so its not good as a sub for actual aa and kinda conflicts with mono too which sucks cause i like mint a lot and have been drinking it for decades and im addicted so i still do one spring one cup a day now
>>8090>why would so many people recommend estrogen to prevent masculinization? It can help improve your skin, but beyond that I think it's just internalized misogyny.
>And why do women still look very feminine well into their 40Straight men basically treat women over 35 as invisible and/or objects of scorn. I think the whole "twinkdeath" discourse stands out among queer men because its not something most men worry about. But talk to any woman and they'll tell you about how they feel constant pressure to maintain a youthful appearance, the impossibility of standards imposed on them, how often they are taught that their self worth is tied to their ability to meet them, etc.
>>8127Do you have any link to that guide? Id just be buying store tea bags since i dont know anything about tea, let alone growing my own spearmint plant. Also would drinking spearmint tea for long periods of time without any estrogen have the same negative effect on bones that taking regular AAs without estrogen causes?
>test rebound spikeSorry if i sound stupid, but what does this mean?
>reppingim fairly certain im not a repper, just a femboy. Still either way this spearmint tea sounds like it would be a lifesaver for me so thank you very much for bringing it to my attention.
>>8128Im not currently on estrogen yet, so i would be fine right?
>>8132I also believe that twinkdeath stems from the same societal pressures to stay youthful that are most-often applied to women. But still, I want to fit those societal standards. I dont want to be considered ugly and expired by society, even if the standards themselves are problematic.
>>8134>that guidevery old 4chan psuedoscience. picrel
>growing my own spearmint plantits one of the easiest plants in the world. you can buy it at the grocery and stick a stem in a cup of water, change it to fresh daily and it will grow roots in a week.
>what does this mean? if you suppress testosterone your body will try to produce more to make up for the deficit and receptors without it will become temporality more sensitive to the lower amount it. it wont overcome the effects but when you stop testosterone will jump above baseline for a few weeks. at least thats what it feels like but it could just be the distinctness of the changes?
>the same negative effect on bones that taking regular AAprobly not unless you take extract which you should not. its pretty mild even if you go crazy w it in plant form and has diminishing returns with increasing side effects. you will get mood problems fatigue anxiety insomnia nervousness way before bone problems. other plants can mess w you more and in more serious ways, tho if you did extract or got really obsessed it could cause or compound existing kidney or liver issues.
>>8134>so i would be fine rightyeah

>>8148>nooooooo dont tell losers who still unironically use the "femboy" label to take estrogenenjoy the thicker skin, thicker facial hair, also your collagen and hair completely disappearing in your 30s lol, dont say i didnt warn you
>>8135Are you saying these guides don't work??? : (
>>8135Thank you so much for all the info and advice. One last question though is if store-bought tea bags will be equally as effective? I know you said its easy to grow them but i live in an apartment and even if i left it at my windowstill, my cat likes to knock shit over, so growing it myself isnt really feasible for me. Buying spearmint tea bags is probably my only option
>>8150I have no idea why me being a feminine male pisses you people off so badly. god forbid a man be gender non-conforming.
>>8154>I have no idea why me being a feminine male pisses you people off so badly. god forbid a man be gender non-conforming.It is a reaction to excessive hugboxing in these communities. There are no 30 year old femboys, only sissies. If that is fine by you then god bless, just be aware that is the outcome of not transitioning.
>>8155Theres plenty of 30 year old femboys, and most of them look perfectly fine since theyre on estrogen. And i already stated that i plan on starting estrogen eventually at some point too, which you would know if you actually read the thread.
>>8134you are trans you are already expired to society no matter how well you pass or how many surgeries you get. you will never be them. accept that. people of color had to learn this lesson too. we arent them. we arent the majority and never will be.
passoids still get relentlessly bullied online when people know. and ngl I personally dont think a single trans perspn including myself actually passes under real scrutiny with no tricks like filters and camera angles.
people see you irl in full 3D under weird and bad lighting and every real angle. most people could stand within 3 feet of a passoid and find clockable traits. I mean…even our eyes are different than cis women. I dont mean orbital bone structure. actually the eyeballs…like…gaze and you can tell after a while that isnt a cis female.
I met Blair White irl and she is like a fucking half gorilla irl, shoulders clockable from a mile. size doesnt matter when stature still shines through. Contra Points is a Frankenstein monster too irl. most of us suck. get over it.

>>8159Thanks, ill ask my dermatologist about it this month. Still i doubt ill be able to do these things daily considering i couldnt even bring myself to apply my previous skincare products daily, im just too depressed.
>>8158Im sorry to hear that but i am 100 percent certain without a doubt not a trans woman. I even tried identifying as a trans girl for a brief period of time online (mostly because people kept pressuring me too and calling me auygh) and it made me feel so uncomfortable, i constantly felt like I was an imposter and i could just tell that being a trans girl just isnt who i am.
This also goes to anyone else who is about to make yet another post on this thread calling me a trans woman.
>>8154>is if store-bought tea bags will be equally as effectivei dont see why not. i just expect the leaves will be standardized at a lower concentration of secondary metabolites because theyre grown under minimal industrial conditions, however they probably put enough leafs in it to not make a difference and it will be more consistent so you can just use two bags if you dont get results. id just look for lightened body hair in 2-4 weeks as an indicator
presumably all the testimonials on reddit and the like are not growing their own like me, and in the end i probably get seasonal and soil variations. i just know that under good care the leaves get way deeper green and more pungent like almost spicy and you can smell them from 10 feet away and have always assumed this is a good thing and i have a habit of not spending money if i can get things for free
