So yes what would normally be like 1500 for a woman could easily be 2000 for a man. Especially if it's a man who does labor. I'm not even tall, but when I was working full time I was easily going through like 2500 a day.
You'll never get the numbers exactly right anyway. A lot of it is guessing and estimating. It really just comes down too eat healthier to promote muscle over fat retention, and actually do shit to jumpstart what's otherwise a pretty standard metabolic rate.
