It's also incidentally a good way for us to find each other and build community too, but mainly the first thing. So, I think as far as the ruling class is concerned, everyone who's done anything other than Love Big Brother is queer - and that certainly includes cishets who are just a bit unusual. It's a spectrum of how loyal you are to normality, so while they're rarely the first targets, yeah, I'd call interesting cishet people a part of the community in that they're on the same purge list that we are, even if they are way at the bottom.
That's probably a weird take on it all, and a little grim, but it's the only way I can see it, personally.
