hi just wondering if any transfems know about whether infertility from hrt can be reversed? ik that tgel can be used to regain function but can you go like fully infertile and not be able to regain function?

Depends on whether AAs are involved or not. AFAIK E alone only drastically reduces sperm count, so conception should theoretically be possible and topical T application would help with sperm production.

>muh fertility
Rapehon

>>9367
im gonna permaboymode as to not commit social suicide so i might as well have a kid

>>9366
arent AAs necessary though?

>>9368
>Im mentally ill freak and a coward, better pass my genes on!

>>9371
it would be a waste to not pass on such a brilliant mind as mine ;)

You’re kinda fucked, if you really want to you could freeze sperm.

forgot the gigachad image

ight, i got 5 minutes and this looks important or relevant or whatever.

here's my experience with it so far; yes mtf HRT can make you infertile as soon as 2 years depending on how your metabolism processes HRT.

but if you really want to freeze sperm here's the shtick;

in my case; 2 months on HRT is keeping me 3 months maybe more without HRT AND at least a testosterone shot which is already making me retch every 5 minutes which goes hand in hand with the spike in my anxiety probably because of my hormonal levels being very low in general at the moment, i am also experiencing a cold sweat and on top of it all… the dysphoria.

so i'm basically in hell and my future children are the only thing keeping me sane; which is a good contrast to when i used to look at children with a salty attitude thinking it wasn't an option for me.
a fox and the grapes situation really; but after those 2 months on HRT all my emotions came crashing resulting on me crying almost everytime i saw a baby and crying with my bf… so we decided i'd do this and yeah, i wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.
not even >>9371, i'm sure they got enough in their hands if they have to come to the trans board to project their insecurities.

but the moral of the story is to not fall into anti-natalist propaganda; if you're unsure wether or not you want to have children, better to be safe than sorry from the start so you don't end up regretting it later…

I am nothing but grateful i realized this early, it even cured part of my doomerism and accelerationist beliefs now that i have more to worry besides my own future.

in fact i'm "lucky"; the doctor gave me two options, a shot of testosterone and be able to give a sample in 3 months.

or wait 6 whole months for sperm production to kick back normally.

It's faster, but i'm not exaggerating when i tell you that this is probably the most painful experience of my life, even if not specially knowing i still have another 2 months to go like this.

>>9425
No offense but why do you wanna have kids? You’re not emotionally or financially stable.
Also, people complain about antinatalism but have a strong inclination for misopedia

>>9426

why does anyone want to have kids?
I want the opportunity to be a loving mother, and start a family with the man i love; he has helped me grow a lot and i'm sure he'll be a great father as well.

also, "misopedia" sounds like an exclusively anglo issue, that only the terminally online outside of the anglosphere tend to have.

>>9428
Can't you adopt instead? There's plenty of kids that need a home already

>>9431

i'll keep that in mind

>>9431
Adoption is made as difficult as possible in amerikkka and the rights to adopt as LGBT are shaky at best. Don’t know where she’s from but she literally might not be allowed.

i also got diagnosed with autism, sry if i didn say helo

>>9428
>also, "misopedia" sounds like an exclusively anglo issue, that only the terminally online outside of the anglosphere tend to have.

I wish this were true. It’s become more a thi mg amongst postboomer folk even outside of the Anglosphere. Interestingly enough though, misopediacs also are fond of childrens media, especially from their own childhood era

>why does anyone want to have kids?

Everyone says this and end up being fuckups as parents in some way.
Seriously, whatever happened to having homesteading training in youth?

Why do people treat childrearing as some vanity project for their “redemption arc”? It’s just so shallow that so many underachieved adults think they’re okay to pass off their genes

>>9431
This
Everyone wants to have a child but they don’t want to help pre-existing ones that don’t have any parents to lean on.

>>9497

i didn't say we'd be the perfect parents, i just said i'm willing to do my best and be a loving mother.
why cis people get to scratch being fucked up parents as an "oopsie, we were too young/nobody teaches you to be a parent", but when a trans person wants to give it a shot it's suddenly so controversial?

>>9498
my friend is an adopted child and she just had her baby, i'm not scratching off that option, i just really wanna do this first, why nobody questions cis-straights for not adopting?
just because they can get creampied and have babies "accidentally"?

>>9501

Two wrongs dont make a right. Also, cishet parents are getting alot of flak for fucking up, but nobody wants to put their foot down with some sociolegal amendment.

Again, children are not toys. Why is it that society will ban or restrict industrial or recreational equipment due to consequent tragedies but when it comes to childrearing they dont?

>my friend is an adopted child and she just had her baby, i'm not scratching off that option, i just really wanna do this first, why nobody questions cis-straights for not adopting?

>just because they can get creampied and have babies "accidentally"?

Again, cishets are also criticsed for not considering adoption.

Again, you seem to think children are some vanity project. This is exactly why we have so many fucked up kids. And in this global economy?

>>9508

this seems like an overtly anglosphere issue.
i don't see this happening anywhere outside of the US, US proxies and alienated middle class communities pretending to emulate the US

>>9514
If it was exclusively an Anglo issue, why do we have so many Latinos and Middle Easterners complain long about abusive parents? Growing up in less than sterilant households due to parents not being in their right mind?

>>9516

i can't talk about the middle easterners; but being completely honest as a very religious person, it's usually because of religion.

>>9517
Even in secular households, a lot of parents are still dysfunctional, although religious households tend to be hyper dysfunctional.

Regardless, adults in general, even the most empathetic kind, cannot and will not ever bring themselves to respect children as individual persons.

Even if we made a metaphysical drug that made childrens cognition on par with adults, adults will still conjure up some excuse

>>9518

so it's the solution to just stop having children?

>>9514
>auntie nat

jesus christ….

>>9521

i finally have a reason to use this image!

>>9520
Unironically yes. But I know that this will never sit well with most adults.
Even though we have climate change, dwindling labor market, and geopolitical conflicts, people still wanna bring kids into this world and then complain about how raising kids is a drag.

Motherfucker and bitch, you CHOSE to mix your procreative cells together to make a baby. Nobody forced you to do that.
Yet, breeders are given all the sympathy in world for doing the one act that they were forewarned about countless times and aren’t even pressured into doing anymore.

I have less sympathy for childrearing as a choice the older I get.
