ight, i got 5 minutes and this looks important or relevant or whatever.
here's my experience with it so far; yes mtf HRT can make you infertile as soon as 2 years depending on how your metabolism processes HRT.
but if you really want to freeze sperm here's the shtick;in my case; 2 months on HRT is keeping me 3 months maybe more without HRT
AND at least a testosterone shot which is already making me retch every 5 minutes which goes hand in hand with the spike in my anxiety probably because of my hormonal levels being very low in general at the moment, i am also experiencing a cold sweat and on top of it all… the dysphoria.
so i'm basically in hell and my future children are the only thing keeping me sane; which is a good contrast to when i used to look at children with a salty attitude thinking it wasn't an option for me.
a fox and the grapes situation really; but after those 2 months on HRT all my emotions came crashing resulting on me crying almost everytime i saw a baby and crying with my bf… so we decided i'd do this and yeah, i wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.
not even
>>9371, i'm sure they got enough in their hands if they have to come to the trans board to project their insecurities.
but the moral of the story is to not fall into anti-natalist propaganda; if you're unsure wether or not you want to have children, better to be safe than sorry from the start so you don't end up regretting it later…
I am nothing but grateful i realized this early, it even cured part of my doomerism and accelerationist beliefs now that i have more to worry besides my own future.
in fact i'm "lucky"; the doctor gave me two options, a shot of testosterone and be able to give a sample in 3 months.
or wait 6 whole months for sperm production to kick back normally.
It's faster, but i'm not exaggerating when i tell you that this is probably the most painful experience of my life, even if not specially knowing i still have another 2 months to go like this.
