Just took a side profile pic of myself and realized that i no longer have a double chin. Im 20+kg down in 2 years.

I looked in the mirror a few days ago and for the first time in a while, maybe ever, I thought I didn’t look hideous

My friend did my makeup and i felt pretty :)

I met the prettiest guy ever and we hanged out a bit. It motivated me to stop biting my nails, fix my posture, try in general to look good and stay healthy, etc. Started to notice some improvements recently :3

I passed in public today to a transphobe! I was so happy. But then my best friend said I don't pass and I look worse than the average trans woman so now I have lost all my positivity and I am crying in bed.

What kind of fucking "best" friend do you have? You passed to a fucking transphobe and then its your "best friend" over there to bring you down?
I have the most positive opinion possible of the trans population but one thing I keep noticing is how many of you bitches have absolutely ZERO filter for people and how you cling to the worst possible people just because you are feel rejected and are desperate for company no matter who. Im not saying this is you S poster because i dont know you but what I AM saying is that you need to stand in front of a mirror and slap yourself across the face three times and then sit down and reevaluate who is really worth keeping in your life and who isn't. Take this from a person who had several of those "friends".

She isn't a bad person she is just kind of autistic and says mean things sometimes. Also I am a bit bpd in a lot of ways and I get paranoid and make people tell me what they think about deep down, and then get upset if they have anything negative to say. Tbh she is way less mean than most friends I have had.

She was a street preacher who was shouting about transhumanists and I went up to ask her what church she was from (she said she wasn't from any denomination) and then I debated everything about Christianity with her for like half an hour, trying to convince her that Satan was right if she truly believed in the supernatural. But I know I passed because she kept calling me sister and because she said I shouldn't ruin my god-given body which can give life to the world when I brought up transhumanism. But I think it was only just since she was confused at first but my voice managed to convince her also she was really old. It would have been much more difficult passing to a TERF I think since this Christian nutter wasn't really dialled in to clocking trans women like TERFs are.

I found out my girlfriend and I's apartment application was approved. I am so excited to get to come home to her every single night. It is like a dream come true.

You shouldn’t let her be mean to you like that, it’s understandable to be bpd about it, especially if she knows your insecurities.
You should stand up for yourself, let her know how it made you feel. It’s not worth it to keep your feelings bottled up, it will only cause shame and resentment.

For some reason old people are worse at identifying trans people in my experience. My boyfriend's (ftm) grandfather is suffering from memory loss, and he only knew his grandson as his kid granddaughter. When I was introduced by my bf's aunt to him ("he's Anon, a friend of the family"), he greeted me, then looked at my boyfriend, and asked "and who is this?" using male pronouns. Which would be a completely normal question except for the fact that he's presumed to be a woman in his daily life, so much so that when he was debating trans visibility at an indie film festival, the (very woke) people there assumed he was a woman.
