Hello, guy who is discovering his bisexuality here. I’m into feminine guys and consider myself dom, but I also want to suck dick. Is that interpreted as a submissive act? I see it as an act of appreciation and a good looking dick looks like something I want to put in my mouth. Would subs interpret this as a contradiction and no longer see me as dom? Or is this highly individualistic with no general tendency to speak of? I’m likely very biased by a straight viewpoint, so I was wondering.

Dicks are nice.

that's a service top ain't it?

that sounds brain-broken? don't straight guys like eating pussy in many varieties of position? so like same thing

Yes.

I'm clueless about these terms, so I don't know.

I mean, the most toxically masculine guys also see it as an act of submission to eat a woman out. Not that this view is common. Many straight guys see eating pussy as showing appreciation, but sucking a dick is still perceived as inherently submissive.

forget about dom/sub, they're not strict categories just general tendencies or preferences, if you have a desire to suck dick then you shouldnt let patriarchal heteronormative prejudice hold you back, personally I have no desire to be penetrated therefore I don't do it unless I oblige on a rare occasion but that is more out of a desire to please my partner not necessarily because I desire to in a selfish sense.

I agree with you, but I don’t think I have properly explained my concern here. I do think most women are subs and desire a dom (let’s think of it as a spectrum with heternomative people mostly falling on one side) and I noticed in all my relationships that not being dom and not being masculine simply leads to a diminishment of respect and sexual attraction. That doesn’t mean no woman ever respected or felt sexually attracted to me if I don’t perform my dom role. I still had either, *but* said respect and sexual attraction diminishes and is not as much as when I maintain this role. I like
women the most when they have this maximal respect and sexual attraction to me. I’d love it if women gave me this maximum respect and sexual attraction with my switch-self and when I occasionally feel sub, but from what I can tell women compatible with that are hard to come by. I’ve only spoken with them over the internet. I mostly get subs that merely tolerate it when I’m not being dom but I can recognize that it doesn’t tickle them the same way.

Now I’m wondering if this is what I will be dealing with when I’m dealing with sub guys. I’ve been talking to femboys (yes, I know how much you guys dislike them, or some of you at least, lol) and everyone I talked to (over the internet) was highly submissive. This to me seems like it will just head down the same road were breaking polarity will inevitably lead to the same outcome as with hetero women.
