I definitely don't want to be a man, but something keeps me from fully feeling like a woman. I don't feel any solidarity or strong connection to men or women; I see them as alien to me and mired in an unnecessary idpol. I feel uncomfortable when I have to identify my gender. It's like I'm a third gender or something. Is this normal and will it go away with time? I've been on HRT for a little over half a year, obviously boymoding.

Break free from the prison of the binary. Just because you don't desire a close relationship with manhood doesn't mean you necessarily have to with womanhood, especially if you don't feel it.

Maybe you're subconsciously aiming for a middle road already, to 'even out' so to speak? There are numerous examples of third gender expressions; some fitting examples I would highlight are 'neutrois' (which is defined as aiming for gender neutrality, lessening masc/fem extremes in one expression) and 'androgye' (aiming for a combined mix of masc/fem extremes in one expression)
In musical subcultures ones sees neutrois on greater occasion in techno contexts scenes and androgyne in goth

You are not immune to propaganda. With time you will probably recognize more and more traces of male socialization in yourself and may even start to see how maligned a lot of female interests often perceived as idpol are. Even if you continue feeling alienated from the majority of people, it may ultimately constitute a form of womanhood regardless.
