There is a certain type of poster who only posys here because they were 4chan addicts but got tired of all the Nazis there but they themselves are just slightly less noxious Nazis(libs) always goving their reddit-tier takes on politics(assuming they don't just exclusively post on /siberia/.) Good riddence(although too many still remain and more keep coming)

leftypol needs to die and it will die. it is only a matter of time. leftypol and leftism were the biggest lies of my life. this piece of shit site deserved to be eradicated. my biggest hope lies in the bots. ai bots, csam spammers, whatever.

4chan has already introduced massive IP range bans, ultra annoying captchas, bots flooding everything.

It's very slow compared to the original /leftypol/ when it peaked around 2016-17 (pic related). Yeah, the board was fucking huge back then, there was also a lot of drama/shitposting but also a ton of well read people. It managed to achieve third most popular board on 8chan despite the whole site crawling with nazis who hated our guts. You could legitimately learn much about politics and history from /leftypol/ those days, not to mention the tons of book recommendations you would get. Sadly the Rojava drama and leftpol split marked the beginning of the end.
Then there was a big spike in 2019 when 8chan got nuked and suddenly every imageboard leftist of every ideology was crammed together in Bunkerchan. Ever since 2020, mod infighting and the decline of imageboards in general seems to have killed off this place and brought its activity to a minimum.

It's been a good run and I'll never forget it.
