/meta/ - Ruthless criticism of all that exists (in leftypol.org)

this post responding to a user's racialist and behaviorist rhetoric not only resulted in a ban but was also deleted from the conversation. why is that?

if users are not allowed to argue against outmoded pseudoscience like racialism and behaviorism or even read any arguments against these ideas then how can this possibly be considered a "leftist" community?

doesn't help that every day there is at least one active thread on the board where users are talking about white birthrates and using terms like "replacement level", basically taking pages directly out of the far-right neoreactionary 4chan /pol/ playbook and trying to clumsily and bizarrely incorporate them into supposedly "leftist" discourse.

what are you people really about? because it seems like you're all just a bunch of fraudulent poseurs to me, it seems like you're all the typical angry white male nerds from 4chan but you've somehow convinced yourselves that you are not, you think that you can absolve yourselves of all your obvious deep-seated racist/ableist/misogynistic/transphobic/etc. sentiments by simply attributing all forms of discrimination to the capitalist system, like as if the world was completely devoid of bigotry until the 16th century. that's absurd.

and i think you know that you are frauds, you know that you still haven't learned out to deprogram yourselves of all of the western imperialist thinking that you were programmed for, but you also know that you don't want to be like the dumb rightoids on /pol/, you've got one foot on the right and one foot on the left and you're experiencing cognitive dissonance and you don't want to do the difficult and scary work of questioning your extremely square whitebread view of the world and you think that putting on a beret and regurgitating some historical slogans and waving some flags will let you off the hook.
