50 Cent is coming to Boston on Nov 1, and I was excited, until I saw that they're all resale standing room tickets only at $150 per ticket. Vendors like Ticketmaster, and then scalpers later on, need to be regulated and punished for price gouging. There's not reason a concert ticket shouldn't cost the same as a movie ticket. Most of the revenue doesn't even go to the artist. Under socialism we need to have publicly funded concerts with price regulated tickets.
Reminds me of how.Billie Eilish’s team was freaking out over low ticket sales because nosebleed seats were like $300 per ticket.
I never even consider going to concerts because I just assume the price will be out of my range, but this time I decided to check and confirm
>scalpers
Scalpers pop up when it's hard to estimate demand and your estimate is too low. The solution to scalpers is having super-expensive tickets that keep falling in price with a money-back guarantee for all the money you paid above the final ticket price.
>>13414Wouldn't nobody buy tickets then and just hope other people do and they fall?

Middle-class problems.
>>13417The arts are only for the middle class?
>>13418No but real proles support their local scene where tickets are like a dollar and the bands suck.
