What happened to rock for the youth. Its now all rap not even one song with a fucking guitar in it. If you ask what green day is they won't have a clue. And i get it's a 2000's band but still why isn't there any new bands with a new style for the modern age. What happened?

idk, rap is better for propaganda dissemination also isn't associated with whites and therefore appeals to wider audience. I remember some african jazz musician said that rock is blues music but for white tastes when segregation was a thing still so they needed to distance themselves from association

Lots of hip-hop has guitars, going back to at least to the Run DMC and Aerosmith song.
