Material explanation?

Is this a good thing or a bad thing from a Marxist perspective?

What does this say about the current state of popular culture? Is all music going to be based on TikTok background music from here on out?

Back when I used TikTok it seemed like every viral song on there was popular due to animation memes and amv edits months prior. So this isn't so much the TikTok-ification of the top charts, but rather TikTok being mostly in touch with what's popular on YouTube.

Like TikTok has taken the role of what reddit was to tumblr, twitter, etc… for a long time.

songs that enter the billboard charts by like sombr and ravyn lenae do not have animation memes and amv edits months prior. tiktok is just serving what you want to see which in your case is some cringe weeb part
