i'm struggling to call this clickbait because it seems so counter-productive. "i found something" as title, meaningless thumb that describes nothing and it's like 1 hour in length? will people really click this? it's not doing big numbers. will i click it to find what that something is

>>807248
Let me guess: the author of these videos is Orthocuck

>>807253
No, I think he's an occultist of some sort.
He has also criticised Orthodoxy as a LARP.

>>807247
Those type of titles are becoming common and they go into the same existential angst ramblings about how society is fucked up, people are fake, much social media, the usual shit

>>807247
>will people really click this? it's not doing big numbers.
4 days later and it is at 419,927 views. Looks like people are clicking.

seeing this between a bunch of gaming video recommendations just cracked me up

>>806203
the fact that the first two videos are from the same guy is just rich
>it's based when christian fanatics kill palestinians, but cringe when jewish fanatics do it
is the implication

>>807296
people were complaining about all these fake 'losers' cropping up on youtube too.

>>808557
Tbh all this glorification of existential angst leaves me to wonder how many people are genuine losers
Most of the people whining about how much life sucks are often of modest/average prospect.
They have decent enough jobs, they have vehicles, they do have some sexual prospects. They even make some cool artwork. They do playthrough videos of their favorite video games and they’re monetized

Granted they may have some credit card/student loan debt but it’s manageable.

But it’s not enough for them.

Meanwhile, there’s people who have no car, no job, no prospect, no talent for art or whatever.

And their woes are overshadowed by these modest-prospect normies

well even a worker in South America has a longer life expectancy than a bronze age king. It's all relative. What makes life unbearable is not having your basic needs met. Once your needs are met that is when you have the time for existential angst. When your belly is full, your body is sheltered from the elements, and you are not worried about eviction, all you have left to worry about is existence itself, why we are here, etc. In fact a person who "has it good" is a lot more liable to develop anxieties about things beyond one's own basic needs. We also become accustomed to our standard of living. A poor person who gets lucky and becomes rich will still find themself full of anxiety and unmet want. The book of Ecclesiastes, perhaps the most existentially angsty book of the bible, was supposedly written by a wealthy king. And how does that book open? Pic related.

>you couldn't use your magic to solve world crises
Harry couldn't even use the mountain of gold doubloons his parents left him to help out his poor friend buy a new wand (even after saving all that money when the school bought him a free broom)

I’m well aware of King Solomon having a “Lost Weekend” phase. (Just like his old man, King David)

But all in all, existential angst to me is shallow and overrated regardless of era.
I do believe it’s important for humans to recognize that there’s more to life than seeking selfish gratification but pondering the meaning of life often leads back to “what about ME?”

These people who spend their time pondering the meaning of life look down on others, especially those in awkward predicaments.

IMO, existential angst is the the epitome of narcissism or egocentrism. It demands that the cosmos recognize an itty-bitty cog as “unique/special”.

People say that materialism the ultimate sin, but I think that it’s idealism

Idealism when left unchecked often leads to unrealistic expectations, which leads to big egos, attachment, and entitlement, which leads to indignation which leads to crashing out in the most epic ways.

Look at conspiracy theorists. They all regard everyone else except themselves as “normies, cattle, goy” etc

They think too highly of themselves, or rather, they are emotionally dependent on an alter ego

Look at our mass shooters. They all were idealists who weren’t tempered or refused to be tempered.

Or lovestruck people. Romantic love is far more destructive than lust. Unlike lust, romance is about recreating your favorite scenes from storybooks and movies. Forcing you and the person of interest to be trapped in a painting for your own amusement.

Romance is highly idealistic compared to lust which is more earthy. People say love is blind, but I don’t think so.
People in the quest for love are more cruelly picky than people cruising over booty calls.
In romance, people are always demanding every moment of your time. It’s not enough to be merely kind to them. It’s not enough to cook them good food or wash their clothes for them.

The people who say “chivalry/romance is dead” are the people whom are the most oblivious of good will that’s done for them platonically.

People like to accuse the youth of being dumbed down for having fun or enjoying art for the sake of it being enjoyed. Kids are morally harrassed to “go the extra mile” or “not be like their peers”. Adults often rate childrens virtue by how excessively formal/abstract they can be.
Ironically, adults never apply these metrics on themselves. Adult conversation on average seems to be about political drama, sports, sex, or reminiscing about their youth.

Unchecked idealism can also lead to hedonism. A lot of our ancient intellectuals/polymaths were horndogs, drunks, overeaters, gamblers, etc in addition to being chauvinistic.

People dont love money, sex, or drugs for itself but rather based on the emotional impression of said pleasures

That’s why so many hedonists are unhappy. They’re not chasing the sensory effects but the emotional effects that will match what was in their imagination.

See Kanye West or John Lennon for example.

I watched it and unfortunately the guy is just a young Christian who has denied being antisemitic, but it seems like the people in the comments want to groom him into being hateful.

>>808717
> pondering the meaning of life often leads back to “what about ME?”
not really, existential angst can take the form of wondering what is the point for any of us. every parent becomes a recruiter. every new child becomes a drafted soldier. life is a terminal illness. an unwinnable war. we are all drafted into it against our will and fight until we fall..

>>808761
That kind of existential angst is the only proper form that’s unfortunately drowned out by the more popular “everyone else is a sheeple except me” form

>>808757
Really? Regardless I find it funny how people whine about the Jews then turn around and support Israel

Save that as a meme pic. Especially for the tendency of people to over analyze pop culture phenomenon

>>808963
freud really said that shit. it's an old meme. someone once implied that his cigars were phallic because he was always saying that about other people and he went "ummm sometimes a cigar is just a cigar."

he was coping

>>808988
I’m well aware that Signund Freud said that

>he was coping

I think you’re coping with wanting to make it psychosexual.

Is this thumbnail supposed to be ironic.

>>808991
Yeah, if anything smoking points to oral fixation, its a breast.

>>809242
Smoking addiction is about the mechanical constant movement of bringing the cigarette to your lips becoming part of your muscle memory more than the oral sensation

I tried watching this video because I wanted to the chicks getting interviewed but that Trey Sellers guy was just awful. The gooners were also pretty cringe. Even though I like pornography and jerking it I just couldn't watch it.

It's okay, the important thing is that you tried.
