you could reconcile this by saying that they're the most elite whites, the very top of the hierarchy (e.g. white channer > white normie > non-white), and this is part of it. but unresolved contradictions are also generally good for an ideology or a religion. the father is not the son, the son is not the ghost, the ghost is not the father, but they're all god… being racist on NEETbux instead of a goyslave is based, but minorities are subhuman because they're welfare queens… trump will stop the foreign wars but invading Venezuela is based… this is particularly helpful on the right because they're less bookish by the left, less annoyed by contradiction and with less need for an ideological justification - if you start from "i don't like black people, white women, liberals, etc…" and then come up with justifications for that belief ad-hoc, you get a much better model of right-wing behavior than if you start from "whites are superior" as an axiom. (if you do that, you wind up like Richard Hanania as a weird sort of open-borders dark-neoliberal because you conclude that high-autism score indians are superior to low autism score whites.)

for example: the left had to come up with theoretical justifications to explain why pivoting from social fascism theory to popular frontism was intellectually coherent. every election time you get a mountain of screeds explaining why communists should vote Democrat, Green, Labour, or indeed not vote at all. the right on the other hand didn't need any great soul-searching to accept RFK or even to think that the unrepentant Blairite JK Rowling is based. in 4chan terms, particularly outside the UK, you can see the pathetic dynamic play out where would-be nazi radicals in non-US countries justify supporting basic-bitch conservative parties. ultimately, they're defined mostly by their enemies and their resentments. The old radical right in the US was a bit more consistent on this, starting from "whites are superior and this is our homeland" and essentially seeking to overturn the changes that did away with the postwar white dominated system. There are some that still cling to this, but mainstream voices like Fuentes treat them with derision as "racialist wignats". Now their viewpoint is defined more by what it's against and internally they've adopted an inverted conservative form of the woke progressive stack. Being a white conservative Christian male citizen is at the top, but to many of them a mixed Christian conservative woman who was not born in the US is more valuable than a godless liberal white woman or even man for example.

Maybe this is just what they've adopted because objectively the time for white nationalists to attempt to counteract demographic and political change and bring white America back to what it was would have been the 1980s or 1990s, not now. Under our current system it's not surprising that this is the outcome of those changes rather than the multiracial progressive utopia where everyone looks Latino, votes for obama, and is becoming more culturally liberal every year.

Regarding Venezuela though I don't think there's as much of a contradiction. My read on the conservative movement today is that their ideal America is one where culture has been rolled back to before 1964-1965 (immigration quotas and Civil Rights) but diplomacy has gone back to before World War II. Under that way of thinking, the wars in the Middle East and support for Ukraine are bad because they're ZOGwars in service of the globalist/Jewish liberal agenda that they identify the Clinton/Bush/Obama US-as-global-policeman-and-foreign-aid-benefactor stuff with, whereas any action against Venezuela or strong-arming regarding Greenland is the US doing what it should as a regional power and carving out its sphere of influence. Maybe im reading too much into the decisions of people like Hegseth but I think the DoD renaming was meant to signify this.

I thought they were either be 100% for Trump illegally targeting Venezuela out of pragmatism or cultlike loyalty or be 100% against it to try and retain some semblance of ideological consistency. Also the tradcath stuff is another type of reactionary thought that literally predates burger ethnic sectarianism by a couple centuries at least. Changing the friend enemy distinction to be about beliefs instead your literal skin color is just the movement adapting to the reality of the US as a declining globalized multiethnic empire like Spain.
