Cats are resilient revolutionary spirits who partake in the revolutionary struggle and champion bodily autonomy against the patriarchy (scratches you if you try to pet them). Meanwhile, dogs are subservient lumpenanimals who do everything to try to please their upper-class owners and do their bidding, such as in the case with KKKops dogs or the attack hounds of evil millionaires, while cats served in Stalingrad on the side of the Soviet Union during the Great Patriotic War (I'm not kidding; look up "Mourka Stalingrad"). German Shepherds were aiding German Wehrmacht and SS soldiers in hunting down Jews and partisans. Hitler himself was a dog lover who valued them over human life. You can also see this with the modern right and American idolization of the dog in such as in their settler colonial fantasies or elons obsession over doge and weaponizing them to attack Muslim minorities or liberals forbidding single mothers and their babies from resting at their restaurants but allowing these stupid small minded mutts to roam around shitting wherever they want, a pinnacle of toxic individualism, truly the bourgeoisie's best friend. Meanwhile, cats are social communal animals who you can generally allow your toddler to be at least near a hundred radius of a cat without losing a limb. while dogs gets into fights over the smallest pettiest differences and always view small children as competition of an adults affection. Anti cat sentiments strongly correlate with misogyny, such as sexist stereotypes about "cat ladies" (full uncritical support to grandmas and their hundred precious kittens) or how many dogs can be accurately described as "evil r*pe beasts" with them humping everything they see and certain breeds symbolising male violance and dominance. Why is it like this? we took the once noble wolf and corupted them using while torture and eugenics into these "things" meanwhile the noble african wild cat integrated itself into human society willingly and is a symbol of human-animal coexistance.
Dog people are reactionary. They want a happy slave.
Cat people want a relationship and treat their companions as equals.
I have a bit of cynophobia because my friend had a dog who would always try to get on me every chance she gets, causing me to get startled. But I generally find cats very comforting to be around, there was even a part of my childhood where there was a cat who'd always go to the playground (near where i lived) at night. So i had left food for him. Even though i got a small scratch on my left hand from my aunt's cat when i was little, cats always felt right for me
