It's no wonder the USSR lost when Amrica was putting out shit like this. Nowadays it would be a different affair though.

>literally no non white men except one background shot of a black athlete

So this is what it was like before woke ruined everything…

>my very special form of idpol is anti-idpol actually

>america raped the entire world for slightly better disposable razors and watered down new wave that sounds like something patrick bateman would listen to
>modern americans are nostalgic for this
there is no fixing your country.

This advert is peak, that was the golden age of publicity. It's better than most movies today lol

identity precedes species-being

what level of essentialism is this

>>772411
Why do people always say shit like this? Makes no sense.

What does a fucking razor commercial from the late 80s have to do with the USSR "losing" anything?

This is a retarded patriotism post you'd see on 4chan. Very disappointing.

>>772389
What the fuck are you doing on this website??

>>772392
>Patrick Bateman

There's no fixing you, fuckstick.

>>772389
I thought you were complaining and was going to make fun of you for obsessing over something like that. I'm still going to HAHAHAHAHA look at this guy

Boy I sure do love corporate slop.
Gimme that slop, let me suck it up.
Mmmmmmmm yeah that's some good slop.
Um, waiter? More slop please!
Sssasssssslllllrrrrrrrpp, mmmmmmm, I love slop I tell you, good slop.

Da, comrade. You make great point. Monochrome people trying to scale wall surely much happier in land of grey darkness.
Hedonistic pursuits, tasty food, capitalism, vibrant colors all very BAD. Very bad.

someone throw this man into the melting pot, i want him to know how it feels to be a post-racial mutt gigachad like me

>>772485
It's not patriotic and im not american. But the US propaganda/soft power was of an insane quality between 1960 and 2000.

>>772498
>Responds positively to pro-West German low-brow propaganda poster made by a nazi
>Even after having indicated to him that the textual contribution of the anon amounted to repeating "slop".
You must be an 80's Hollywood main character because you have a lifetime subscription to spam safety razors. We are merely cyborgs because we leverage automation for the benefit of the demos rather than capitalist interests.
You choose to drink corporate trash water and not care about analysis and thought… thus you're Free™, under the boot of the military industrial complex, like a free-range* chicken (*or not).

>>772387
Gay. Now this is peak American advertising.

>>772510
Noone inhat picture is a racemixed gigachad.

>>772516
No, this is.

>>772518
Do they still make freaky commercials(I wouldn't know because I don't watch commercials anymore)? It seemed to be a big trend from the late 90s to the 10s. There were tons of ad executives who say Cinco and Tim and Eric Awesome show, and said "We need to get them to make a commericial for our product!" Twas a strange time. This was a real super bowl ad they made.

I don't understand any of that. I don't know what it has to do with my post. How do I drink corporate trash water?
Are you really making an argument that freedom and capitalism and everything that was not the USSR is all slop?
It's a very simplified poster, yeah, but there's really no defending the other side of it. Communism in that form did not work. Things are not great in America, but there's a happy medium between the two. One with fewer of us "little people" who are the vast majority in both of the extremes.

Was that even you? Doesn't seem like the same poster would write "oooh yum yum mmmmm gimme that slop" and then a big fancypants complicated followup.

All this in response to shaving gear commercials? What's the other side of that? Each man has one state-rationed straight razor and strop that he is responsible for maintaining? I always wonder what your fucking solution is to the disgusting consumerist world you see. You think I like all the plastic junk and advertising? What's the solution?

What does your world look like? Mind you, that was almost 40 years ago. I remember the Gillette song. I remember By Mennen. Getcher skis shined up grab a stick of Juicy Fruit, the taste is gonna move ya!

You find my childhood nostalgia so fucking disgusting?

Yes, there are nonsense ads that look badly Tim and Eric inspired or just like some really dorky person's idea of "whimsical". I keep seeing ads for Rice Krispies Treats where this lady jumps into the sky and steps on an anthropomorphic cloud that says "Crispy" in a really stupid voice. The whole thing is lame and cringy. Like worse than those older nonsense Skittles commercials. Everything is like that now.

What's really terrible are the insurance ads. Because they're for cars and homes and all that shit, so everyone needs them so they're all constantly competing. Liberty Mutual and Progressive especially seem to be trying to one up each other in the 'how weird and hip can we be' category. Because they have to fill so much advertising time they all have multiple spokespeople and styles. It's like they're all trying to have ironic mustaches and the 2008 Adult Swim vibe. Really cheapens all that stuff I loved so much before it was diluted and kicked to death.

I saved this pic years ago in my comedy folder. I think this dude is Russian.

There were a bunch of photos of this guy posing in his gaudy house with gold everywhere, always wearing some retarded outfit and thinking he looks cool. I should have saved the whole set.
I never thought the internet would keep growing and changing and that I'd just never see stuff again. I found an old hard drive and some bookmarks on it and so many of the sites I had saved are just dead and gone now. Yet amazingly there are still tons of old ones from the 90s even still up if you know where to look. I wish I'd screenshotted (forgive that 'verb') so much stuff back in the day. Could you even do that back on Windows '95 when the internet was new? Was it always so easy?
