So what stocks are worth grabbing, leftychan?

just do something low risk like CDs or bonds or buy gold if you're feeling frisky. stonks are risky. even short selling when you know a crash is coming is incredibly risky.

What’s your take on precious-metals ETFs for investment and fractional investing?

Just buy an index fund. Everything else is just gambling.

all well and good in theory but you can't short something for like 5 years. the normal ups and downs will demolish you and the interest will destroy any profit you could make

Nfts, they’re all dirt cheap now so when they eventually become popular again you’ll be rich

My portfolio is overwhelmingly S&P500 and an international equivalent. But mostly S&P.

Alphabet Inc. is really interesting option atm as they own entire AI supply chain from chips to data to AI models. But as a general advice buy passive index funds.

Im gonna withdraw my 401k soon and dump it on stock options. What should I buy?

have fun getting scammed by insider traders in the US government who constantly manipulate the market

So long as there’s human civilization, S&P500 is a safe bet. If S&P500 fails, the world is fucked and money will no longer matter for the immediate future anyway.

I’ve got Schwab’s international index. No clue what the individual stocks are but it returns about 5% annually, although over the last 10 years it’s been returning about 8%. I used to also have US bonds but I found that pointless and moved that money to either index funds or my HYSA.
