Think about it, they can get you in trouble for anything.. 3 felonies on average, that is immense power and we, apparently, gave them this power.

I don't think people really want freedom. They want protection more kind of like from some daddy or mommy figure. Also most people are cowards who go with the flow who are mostly reactive rather than proactive. I can't really blame people that much because I'm pretty similar to that but it is a bit infuriating and demoralizing.
