The only good ones are sung by orcs, because it gives you glimpse into their culture, while for for elves or humans or hobbits they rarely communicate something you wouldnt pick up on already. Like Aragorn is singing a tragic song about star-crossed lovers, I get it, I already knew what his deal is. Hobbit's cheerful songs about carefree merriment, or Rohirrin's of heroic deeds on battlefield, the same thing.
