Op here, i’m tryna download mullvad vpn but every time i go on the website it shows the “looks like theres a problem” screen; it’s obviously not the website itself because it still loads on other devices, so what gives?

Linux Mint can be simply installed from .exe file, has windows-like UI, and requires virtually no knowledge of code for casual user.

If you're looking for a windows like ui and feel, id recommend KDE as your desktop environment. It can be installed on any Linux distro.
If you're anything like me, you'll probably distro hop.
Ubuntu is aight for beginners, but the more you learn about Linux you'll likely want to find something different. And you get gnomed instantly.
Fedora I've heard is good for beginners as well, probably a better distro overall than Ubuntu, but I haven't tried it.
Mint is essentially Ubuntu with a different default desktop environment, and no snap packages. Pretty good in general, though I'm not that big a fan of cinnamon mate.
I personally use endeavorOS as my daily driver, because I don't care about being elitist around arch, and I don't mind using CLI to do things.

If you're interested in being a weeb or editing config files endlessly to make something that looks pretty, check out window managers like hyprland and i3.

Fuck windows, I only use it to play league with my friends. Everything else is done on Linux.
