i wish i was an amerikkkan. how dare you guys live in the greatest country on earth and be hostile to it?
Kill yourself
I love having all the treats of the world at my fingertips tbh.
Why? Europe seems better in almost every respect.
I'm only hostile to this new version of it, which is not favorable to me, I would prefer scaling back to a previous era because I don't think most people really understand the implications of adding more things to le system. Honestly it doesn't even benefit most people. It's sort of like Windows 10 or getting any sort of upgrade, there's just things in there that are annoying, stupid, and undesirable which is largely why I've switched over to Linux. I know you all probably don't agree with me, being that you're totalitarian progressives, "it's either this or nothing!", but yeah you know the Constitution and its traditions only worked with a subset group of people, mainly those of a religious and dare I say it, European background.
At this point you may as well scrap the entire thing and rework something else but I don't think anyone wants to bother with the enormity of that.
Why? What country do you live in right now? Because standard of living wise America is not the greatest country, China probably is, or maybe Vietnam. And morally the United States is the worst country on earth except maybe Israel. But except for some leftychuds here American leftists don’t hate America rather we hate the government and want America to do better
>>779131Europeans are only better at being more pretentious and lacking self awareness. Most Europeans are just salty their country couldn't maintain geopolitical and cultural relevancy.
heil hitler to you too
The question is, how do you achieve a utopia which appeals to everyone..? Since humans of any kind cannot be trusted, and are imperfect creatures based on my understanding of history.. the only way to get this would be some sort of society ruled by AI or even more technology. I of course obviously think this would backfire on them and they would sourly regret it. They already are regretting the consequences of this postmodern heavily industrial society.
>>779134>China . . . maybe Vietnam I love traveling in Asia, but you'd be delusional to say that those countries have a better standard of living than the US.
Vietnam has beautiful women though. I think they're among the best in Asia (probably globally) in terms of attractiveness, femininity, and work ethic. China's are visually alright but tend to be neurotic as fuck and racist. Not in a Western sense, more of in a sheltered sense.
>>779137Thirdies would subjugate you if they could. Being poor isn't inherently virtuous, touch grass.
>>779141>Thirdies would subjugate you if they couldWIth good reason
Something went wrong about this society in the 1900s, and I don't think we've recovered, I think this author from 'the Law' puts it adequately well
>Bastiat asserted that whereas justice has precise limits, philanthropy is limitless and thus government can grow endlessly when that becomes its function. The resulting statism, he argued, is "based on this triple hypothesis: the total inertness of mankind, the omnipotence of the law, and the infallibility of the legislator." The relationship between the public and the legislator becomes "like the clay to the potter." Bastiat stated, "I do not dispute their right to invent social combinations, to advertise them, to advocate them, and to try them upon themselves, at their own expense and risk. But I do dispute their right to impose these plans upon us by law – by force – and to compel us to pay for them with our taxes.
>>779141Well I assumed that they did, you would know more than me since you been there, I never left the United States before. But what makes their standard of living worse? America has medical bankruptcy and homeless people everywhere and no public transit so I can’t imagine how those countries could be worse
>>779146I've never been to China, but I've run into Chinese people abroad.
As for Vietnam, it has pretty bad unemployment and underemployment among young adults; the physical infrastructure is dodgy (but that by and large goes for Asia as a whole); and a not insignificant amount of locals also do shit like burn their trash, and the state just doesn't care (implicitly the air pollution is terrible). I actually got sick being in Vietnam after only like two days. Oh, and the gap between the social classes is pretty pronounced, although the US is on track for that.
The food's nice and pretty cheap and the country has great access to healthcare. But the US is uniquely bad for that.
Singapore, South Korea, and Japan are better examples of places in Asia with really high standards of living. But they're also really expensive in general, especially on local wages.
>>779135Presumably OP cares more about living standards than "geopolitical relevancy".
>>779131European countries are almost entirely made up of places that know their best days are behind them. Sam Kriss got it pretty well:
https://samkriss.substack.com/p/youll-regret-it >>779155The US has absolute garbage living standards and it's rapidly declining. There are so called third world countries with better healthcare and higher life expectancies than the US. You have to be baiting.
I'm jealous of Americans. They have a huge beautiful country that you can spend your whole while travelling and exploring, you don't even need to go to other countries. Their average wages are high. They have access to so many treats. They can drive huge cars, have big homes with huge yards. American women are hot. Their public infrastructure is great. Their local governments are generally functional and have low corruption. They have the best healthcare system in the world (quality wise not price wisee). But even in terms of price, as long as you're middle class it's affordable to get insurance.
Muricans who delude themselves into thinking they live in a shithole are simply wasting the short life that they are given here on earth creating unnecessary problems and suffering for themselves. You don't need to pretend you live in hell in order to fight for communism. You can enjoy your life while doing so. Life is short and you will regret any LARPing about how you're suffering when you're older
>>779176This was true maybe 10 years ago. Unemployment is crippling, and the housing situation is dire. The middle class is in decline and being poor sucks harder in a country with no public welfare.
I say this as someone who wanted to move to the US almost two decades ago.
>>779176You only get this with non-shithole states, of which, there are not many
>>779126>be hostile to itfeudal aristocrat: "how dare you hate parasitic entities, actually I love the idea of leeches sucking my blood and make me feel euphoric. I have too much blood, its good for my health to feed vampires"
>>779141>Being poor isn't inherently virtuous, zero historical materialism. Indigenous people can adapt to climate change because they weren't real estate development degenerates like the ongoing generations of bourg Porky who keep getting destroyed after trying to invest in Florida.
>touch grassinfested with literally plague carrying ticks, there's the backwards feudal false consciousness again!
>Vietnam has beautiful women>>779176>American women are hot.reported, go to horny jail
>>779158Cool text but fuck you for spoiling me on Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
>>779182It must suck there in the winter since it's Alaska. It may legit be better in Brazil at that point.
>>779180Please explain to me how the indigenous Polynesians will adapt to their island homes being several meters below sea level
>>779176American women are disproportionately overweight and the hot ones are eugenicists with brain worms
>>7791441913 was the creation of the Federal Reserve.
But things went wrong way earlier than that.
