there's uyghas in their 30s claiming covid lockdown ruined their social life
>>780455Personally I think being a little sad for a year and getting poked by a couple tiny needles is better than dying or being permanently crippled but what do I know.
I think these people didn't have much of a social life before lockdowns but they still left the house a bit. You know just to watch an occasional movie or take a stroll around a mall once or twice a month. Maybe get a haircut every once in a while or shop at Walmart once in a while. But afterwards, maybe because of a bit hypochondria or germophobia or just general unease maybe agoraphobia they stopped doing those things. That's kind of what happened to me.
What if your social life was shit before covid and the pando had literally no affect on anything for you? Then what?
>>780466Yeah some people's lives are a bit less secure than others; it also doesn't help that some people are noticeably more anti-social than before which puts those with social anxiety just over the threshold of wanting to go out.
Mine was greatly improved by it.
