The only thing that puts you above getting raped in prison is being 7ft and 400lbs. You can be jailed for robbery, have a clean snitching record, follow all the unwritten rules and still get raped if someone perceives you as feminine. Prison rape is so normalized that even the most diehard human rights groups dont care. I spent 18 months in a psych prison that is deemed to be "less violent" than regular prison and also not in the US and rape is still rampant and a frequent topic of discussion amongs inmates.
AOC should be lowered to like 11 but it would also have to come with an actual youth liberation program that annihilate the abomination that is parent rights as well as a socialist program that would make possible for said youth to move out by providing them individual or collective housing based on their preference which would help them cultivating themselves, seeing the world and associate with who they feel like.
