Idk but I have something of a gut dislike of Indians. I'll admit that this is totally irrational (and racist). I don't actually believe any stereotypes about them. The ones I've gotten to know well I've found perfectly pleasant to be around, and had no problem working or socializing with. I don't feel this way about any other immigrant group. I just get this weird ick and a desire to see less of them here, though I'm not stupid enough to let this influence my politics.

Past the hate Indians get from racists I noticed that there is some friction with the liberal/leftist segments on internet recently. Recently Indians have been getting more internet access and are trickling in anglophone social media spaces. The problem is that there are widespread patriarchal, sexist, fundamentalist, Islamophobic and colorist attitudes from many of those indians who join those social media groups and the liberals and leftists who would normally take their side against racists find themselves a bit lost there.

I'm certain Indian normies IRL are fine for the most part but the loud creepy reactionary chauvinist chuds don't give their country a good look for sure.

I've had a problem with foreigners in general and have found some indians to almost have some kind of orifice like focus on their foreheads they also do not really promote freedom in essence this is what tyranny is. Actually I love Indian food, curried goat is one of my favourite dishes (although it's more associated with the Carribean than India). In terms of things I've noticed about Indians that I actually don't like, I'd say that it's probably the accent that is most irritating. I find I get far more annoyed with Indians that speak English poorly when compared to other immigrants. I also find them physically very unattractive, but it's not like anybody is forcing me to bone them so whatever. I've also encountered a few that did fit the stereotypes of being creepy and having bad hygiene, but they were a minority and I don't project those traits onto the nationality as a whole. I live in a small town now, but I used to live in a bigger city with large MENA, East Asian, and Afro-Carribean populations, and that never bothered me. On the contrary I enjoyed the cultural diversity. But somehow, even random gas stations hours from an urban centre seem to have Indians working there. If anything it's less about me wanting to be around white people and more about the sheer number of them drowning out the diversity of the immigrant population that seems to irritate me. As I said before I think these feelings are ultimately irrational, and I consciously work to not let them motivate any discriminatory behaviour on my part or influence my politics. But this is just how I feel for some reason.

It's funny because I think my sister recently called customer service to cancel our satellite subscription and she specifically called the Spanish line because the English one gave you Indians whose accent is harder to understand.
