why is everyone everywhere just choosing slop fabrics? I will never know, other than influences in the fashion industry want to wear very different clothes every season because….. just because okay?!

I have culture fatigue

instead of enjoying life now in the present we prefer to idealize a manufactured image of the past. it's no different from chuds thinking they would have automatically been rich, successful, and respected if they had been around in the 50s, excellent now it's redditors thinking they would have been cool and had friends if they were around in the 90s.

A lot of people say life was better before the Internet.
In some ways it was, but it also wasn’t better other ways.

And in fact, a lot of the Internet-induced social problems were an evolution of problems from previous media formats
