I know what Lenin said blah blah blah anti imperialism, third world idk land back blah blah blah, that being said, why should some nations even exist? Why the fuck to we have countries like the Netherlands, essentially a giant highway populated by shaved chimps like the rest of Europe that no longer serves any purpose as an important or imperial power, so why haven’t it just been annexed by Germany or something.
The same can be said about my country, it has lost its importance and serves no purpose but to be an economic hub for billionaires to leech off of, why can’t Europe become a federal communist state and Britian just be used for like factories or something

The purpose of a (ideal) nation state is that geographically and culturally unique and contiguous groups could decide how to run things collectively.
The EU exists to protect or "lock" existing nation states at where they were after the cold war so smaller groups could decide their internal affairs without fear of larger ones.
You're conflating the nation state model with the political influence of capital which erodes it, there is no essential overlap between the two.
