I honestly think they are faking their deaths. These people are too smart to just be bumping off these days. 99% of people are retards and getting rid of people who work on bleeding edge science shit is a waste of resources considering not many people can do it. Yeah Edison killing everyone to promote his own stuff when the population was small, fair enough, but the shit we are trying to fix today is way more complicated that lighting up a room with a lightbulb.

1) you dont, conspiracy retards never back down

2) if they where able to listen to reason (they wont) its pretty basic to show most of the claimed missing/dead people are either just victims of gun violence, dodging caring for there elderly mother (very common) or victims of the american mental health epidemic.

Or they could be running away from loansharks .
Being a scientist doesn’t always mean you get to live the high life.
Science degrees are expensive as hell

>>784790
yeah its like a 100 plausible reasons against the 'it was da government/it was da china'

One just directs peoples energy into incohrent do nothing political posturing, the other is an anti-communist method of agitating uneducated people against foriegn policy goals.

Conspiracy is promoted by the upper class; every single US president has at one point, said Aliens are real.

Obama has even said they are both real and are not real. Its just political cyncism targeted at demographics.

Idk maybe it’s just me but even when I first got into conspiracy theories I’ve always felt that most of them were just motivated from hype and love for mystery rather than sincere curiosity

Especially when it got into the crisis actor level. Most people who dismiss conspiracy theories think it’s mainly a white make right winger thing.

It’s not. There’s a lot of women, LBGT, and ethnics of all differing political orientations that are inclined to conspiracy theorist especially whenever encountering opinions that differ from their own

Conspiracy theorist is just another form of persecution complex

People are more susceptible to the plain and known rather than the unknown.

More people are raped and killed by familiars than by strangers

More people die from common flu than from exotic disease

Im purely talking from my own experience with talking to conspiritards, you can disprove everything they say and they'll just pull up a bunch of schizo (and usually neo-nazi adjacent) bullshit. I gather most of them aren't going to try and challenge there views, just engage in confirmation bias.

Its a form of arrogance.

>>784782
We livin in the Three Body Problem timeline

>>784801
Exactly.
And they always say that they’re persecuted for their views.
They aren’t.
They’re encouraged if not sympathized with.

They’re not all well read on science or host not do they care to learn about such things

Most conspiracy theorists are often washed up has beens or failed normies who cannot cooe

i mean statistically speaking its completely normal. there are hundreds of thousands of scientists in the US, thousands of people die in mysterious circumstances every year, some of them are bound to be scientists.

>>784832
Especially when you consider they work with machines and chemicals that can leave residual damage from exposure

A lot of our scientists from the old days died from radiation and chemical poisoning from experimenting

This is not hard to judge if you're actually honest with the available information. Put all eleven cases together. Were they all high in the academic/R&D ladder? Were they all in similar or related fields? Did they all have similar deaths?

>>784793
my main issue with this particular conspiracy is that I can't even figure out who would benefit from 11 scientists getting merced.like >>785036 has mentioned you'd have to start asking if they were all connected in one way or another before even beginning to create a working theory of who stands to benefit.

I have arrived at similar conclusions regarding conspiritards, the actual info doesn't matter or any notion of being subversive it's literally a cluster B personality disorder and they genuinely think the world revolves around them. Problems are not systemic and the outcome of material factors but a personal attack on them by somesort of cabal for being oh so special and unique.

Most of them are vintage pop culture enthusiasts. They base their moral compass on older generational aesthetics

Notice how a lot of right wing media often uses audiovisual samples of recent-vintage movies/music and often like to quote stories about their favorite pop cultural icons
