have never understood how climate scientists all do the "Oh. My. F***ing. G*d. This is unbelievable." routine rather than coming to the conclusion that this is hell

I think it's important for them to be constantly pissed off and panicking. It's better than the alternative of them all just accepting this awdul situation that capitalism brought about and making it seem like climate change and global warming are normal and acceptable. Almost absolves capitslim's extremely destructive and reckless nature, as well as all of the people responsible for upholding it.

As an example of what I'm trying to say: if I was on a slowly sinking ship, and the guy responsible for sinking it was next to me, I'd be yelling at the motherfucker even though doing so wouldn't change our fate.
