That seems so much worse than restrictive immigration policy
Most of us aren’t thinking about immigrants 24/7 because we aren’t terminally bbc-brained and race cucked like you
>>787301OP was probably referring to the "no one can leave" policy, for which I was hoping to see some arguments from tankies
People move from poorer countries to richer ones, and the specific pattern of migration from Eastern to Western Europe has been going on since the 19th century and continues to this day. That's important to understand because it shows that for the vast majority of migrants it wasn't about escaping le evil totalitarianism, but about moving to somewhere wealthier (and these countries were in turn wealthier due to imperialism and industrializing a century earlier). It was especially severe in Germany because people in the GDR weren't moving to a foreign country, but one where they spoke the language, often had family ties, and would instantly be granted FRG citizenship and generous benefits. However once these countries became socialist, this pre-existing flow of migration became a serious risk, since it led to brain drain, security leaks, labour shortages, etc. These were all tolerable before because these countries were not previously in competition with or attacked by the West, but they represented a serious danger under the conditions of the Cold War. You can argue about whether these emigration bans were justified or not, but they were a response to a practical, pre-existing problem that these states were facing an uphill battle to remedy, and that their capitalist successors still haven't fixed. The restrictions were also not as severe as most people seem to think. My grandmother emigrated from Poland to the West during this period and did so with the approval of the communist government.
I think the WORSE issue is Forced Relocation en mass, under s*alin
>>787231It would be unfair to western workers since people in the eastern block didn't have student loans
>>787231if everyone adopts a closed border immigration policy then nobody can emigrate anywhere anyway. at the end of the day you have to ask yourself, in an age of imperialist wars, sanctions, embargoes, coups, climate change, and genocide…
why are commodities and natural resources more free to move around than people? nations are prisons for workers. commodities money flow from the poor to the rich. the mode of production feeds off of surplus. the worst immigration can do is lower wages in rich countries while raising wages in poor countries. this is why chuds focus on it, because "undeserving shitskins" are fleeing the conditions create by imperialism.
>be state
>offer free education
>pay for said education with your country's resources
>do it in the expectation that the educated worker will generate value for society that compensates for the resources invested in their education
>educated worker immediately leaves country for a higher wage
>hostile nation gets skilled laborer for free
>yfw
>no face
