Honestly, does anyone actually believe this WW3 hype? It feels like every few years the media rolls out the same script "imminent conflict," "global tensions," "we're on the brink" and suddenly defense contractor stocks magically go up. Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Northrop Grumman… they all start printing money. It's not about patriotism or global stability. It's about quarterly earnings and shareholder value. Fear sells, and war scares are the oldest marketing tactic in the book. Wake me up when something actually happens.
A European war is a real possibility, I don't see how you could argue against that. It's up to you if you consider it a real WW3, of course.
