is this a serious question? no, it's not eugenics. eugenics is the stupid idea that you can select for the most advantageous or preferential genetic traits with zero downsides. abortion has nothing to do with that, unless you're aborting for the specific purpose of ridding yourself of a child that you know will suffer some sort of defect, but in that case you're not selecting for preferential traits, you're just avoiding defective ones.
