The fallacy incels fall into is to adhere to a conventional understanding of social status. they understand vaguely that their problem is a lack of status - the lack of a gf is more a symbol of this lack of status with other people than a "real" longing for a woman as another human being, and is why "just get a hooker" doesn't work - but they don't understand that there are infinite status hierarchies out there. if you're ugly, can't get a good job, autistic, etc, you can still derive all your self-worth from being the best speedrunner, furry artstyle historian, ace combat lore knower, /leftypol/ contrarian, etc, and judge yourself by that metric instead of against a "conventional" success narrative which for the most part no longer holds even for "normies" (insofar as there is such a thing in the year 2026.)
