When/why did long hair on men stop being cool? I mean it is still cool but it’s not the cultural trend anymore, all you get now are haircuts based on footballers, shitty modern mullets or gay-ass wolf cuts, nothing like the truly long hair of the 70s

Young people usually are the biggest movie goers, and cinemas often propose formulas to encite people to go more.
And while cinema is rising in price, streaming has risen even more, with the content getting worse and worse. Wheras cinema is still improve qualitatively, the seats are more confortable.
Covid has also given people a desire to return.
Generally going to the cinema is a cultural phenomenon.
2026 will the biggest grossing year since covid, despite large franchises crashing themselves. Showing that the younger generations are tired of franchise movies and want something else. I haven't seen them, but Backrooms and Obsession are becoming hits thanks to Gen Z while Mandalorian and Grogu is failing.
I think in terms of taste Gen Z is closer to their parents.
