Seems to me that, in Western societies, "pronouns" are no longer just ordinary expressions as they once were, but became a standart medium of conversation between two parties in the society scale.
Just like how you gotta behave "well" (adhere to cultural customs) in your interaction with an individual, (eg the sentence "Hello my friend, how's it going?" has a higher chance of a healthy conversation compared to "What's up you worthless, ugly rat?"), and so that how in society scale it is becoming a norm that one can change their gender if they feel deeply uncomfortable w their old body, the common rites of communication also do change in relation, and so it creates some complications where you should be considerate about people's pronouns.

Nobody says y'all in real life, I have never heard it once unironically outside of american films and reddit. Though using "you" to mean both plural and singular could be confusing, it isn't that bad. In the native language of Britain, Cymraeg, there is both a singular 'you' and a plural 'you'. But the plural 'you' can also be singular in order to be polite or official, so it things are only a little easier.

English might be a coloniser language but I will say it is actually a pretty good one. No grammatical gender, no annoying things like mutations (I love them but they make things so much harder if you're not fluent), and it is very easy to speak English and be intelligible even if you know very little, due to the simple structure. Though I do think Cymraeg actually allows for an easier structure since you can put things in either order.

While I use "they" and "them" in a singular a lot it still has issue of being confused with plural which if you did not previously use a different pronoun or name someone it can sometimes cause confusion. I think gendered pronouns are not very useful though and would rather they were not part of the language.

Also some dialects have "yous" such as New Jersey and I think some parts of the UK iirc.

Bigger issue in English is lack of a distinction between inclusive and exclusive "we'", "us" and "our". By this I mean if you are including or excluding the person you are speaking to. This leads to confusion often enough people ask for clarification.
