what are we doing, chubby comrades? exercising? snorting ozempic? letting the chub grow?
eating. fatmaxxing. lounging about
Working out twice a week, going for a run twice a week. Counting calories (very roughly). I wouldnt call myself chubby, but still havent reached my goal weight. Idk how much that is,, I just dont want to have sacks of fat hanging off sides of my waist.
bingeing then starving
>>807899pushups, sit ups, walking 2 miles a day at least 4 times a week but I'm trying to be more consistent with it. also I am trying to eat less but admittedly it's difficult.
>>808082first thing to do when you get a hunger urge is to drink water. often we are just thirsty but reach for the food instead. If you are still hungry a half hour later, eat a small 400-500 calorie meal with multiple food groups. Make sure the veggie portion is large. Studies have shown that eating 100 calories of vegetables with a meal will make you eat 200 fewer calories of that meal. If you are still hungry your only choice left is discipline or isolation. Go outside and get as far away from food as possible so that it takes a lot of work to get back to where the food is. Always try postoponing a meal one extra hour. Microfasting. This might not seem like a lot but if you do this three times a day for 24 days that is 3 full days of fasting.
>>808223(btw I highly recommend my advice because I have never been obese. I have only ever gotten slightly overweight and got it under control quite easily through these tactics)
1 more thing. if you want to lose weight prioritize cardio over weightlifiting in exercising. That isn't to say do only cardio or avoid building muscle. Just to say that if you are obese cardio should be priority. you aren't going to become a skeleton without muscles if you prioritize cardio a little bit. Once you start to get thin you can go back to focusing on building muscle and scale back the cardio.
>>808223>>808227another thing to keep in mind is that as you get older your metabolism changes and you will not be able to eat as much food without gaining weight. the one time i became overweight it was because I was in my late 20s and I was still eating like I was in my early 20s. I realized very quickly that I no longer had that "Shaggy" metabolism where I could eat 4000 calories in a single day and not gain any weight. People also gain weight if they "move up in the world" stop working manual labor jobs and start working desk jobs. So keep that kind of thing in mind as well.
If you binge, you shouldn't eat food with fat in it, so you should eat pure carbs food, which contain 4 calories per gram whereas fat contains 9 calories per gram and de novo lipogenesis (conversion of carbs to fat) is only about 70% efficient so about 30% of it is converted to fat because the conversion itself is energetically costly also your body can store glycogen in the liver and muscles so even less is converted to fat.
