Trump's retardation has been a massive factor in American decline but I think there's a few things that probably wouldn't have changed regardless of who is sitting in the Oval Office. America was woefully unprepared for a war with Iran. If someone like Kamala Harris was in charge, at best, she may have tried to disengage and actually stick with the ceasefire, MOU, whatever. But the outcome wouldn't have come out in America's favour.
