all throughout my childhood and teen years, I would come across mentions of palm reading, people seeing dead relatives, etc
In my teen years, when I first went into conspiracy theorism, I encountered a lot of woo-woo/superstition in those circles

I have noticed that a lot of scientific research articles that are released in media seem to be centered around old wives tales or urban myths.

I honestly believe that God is treated more as a sentient good luck charm rather than as a anthropological being
